ACF Bookens is a published American author.

She is a woman that enjoys reading and is always up to read a good mystery book. She also enjoys checking out book shops, the more quaint, the better. Bookens is also known to be a fan of any good cup of coffee.

The author resides in the state of Virginia in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. Even though she enjoys living there, she also has dreams of going to the Eastern Shore of Maryland to retire. She does love living in Virginia, though, with great views of the mountain and the back roads that are quiet.

She is married to her husband, Philip. They have a son named Milo and together they all keep each other company. They have pets as well, three dogs in addition to three cats.

The dog Mayhem in her books was also inspired by a dog in real life. Her own dog is named Meander. He likes to sit by while she is writing. She also has a basset hound named Mosey. He appears in her cozy mystery series as the fictional dog named Taco. She also owns a Great Pyrenees named Etta that has not yet been featured in her books.

There is also a cat in the books named Aslan. That cat was inspired by her beloved cat that also shared the same name that has now departed. Even though the feline would spend great amounts of time digging through her houseplants, she was very dear to the author. She also has pets that are named for the writing Bronte sisters (Charlotte and Emily) as well as Jelly Roll, who likes to hang out on the deck in her warm box and doesn’t like wearing her bell. She also likes laying on Philip’s Jeep, apparently just to bother him.

ACF Bookens in the creator and the author of the St. Marin’s Cozy Mystery fictional series of novels. The series first started in 2019 with the publication of the debut novel, Punishable By Death. This was followed by the exciting sequel, Entitled to Kill. The third book in the series is Bound to Execute, published in 2020. If you are looking for a new cozy mystery series to enjoy then be sure to check out this awesome series by Bookens.

Punishable By Death is the first fictional novel in the St. Marin’s series by ACF Bookens. In this fun debut, readers get the chance to meet the main character of Harvey Beckett for the first time. She owns a bookstore and it’s opening soon.

Harvey is so excited to open her bookstore, but the last thing that she ever expected to happen is to discover a body. She’s always dreamed of being able to have her own shop and help the people that live in St. Marin’s to track down that ideal book. If she can help a resident find the ideal novel for them in the moment, then she has done her job.

She also loves snuggling up with Mayhem, her loyal hound dog. Things are about to get more complicated for this store owner, though, when the new resident in town discovers that maybe this small town isn’t all that innocent as it appears to be. Harvey is shocked when she is in the storeroom of her store and finds a local reporter’s dead body there.

The reporter was known for being a little uptight, but that’s no reason to murder someone. Still, the corpse is there, and the store was hours away from its grand opening. The timing could not be worse. However, Harvey does have a curious side, and she decides that she wants to try and figure out what happened and who killed the reporter.

It’s clear that this is not the safest thing to do, but Harvey can’t help if her need to solve the mystery is putting herself at risk. She’s starting to find out more about the history of the town and the former gas station that she converted into a book shop. The more that she finds out, the greater her understanding grows.

Sometimes forgiveness can be tough to give or get. She’s determined to get to the bottom of this murder, but what will she find out? Will she put herself in the way and become a target for a killer that doesn’t want anyone to find them? Read this exciting mystery novel to discover what happens in the end!

Entitled to Kill is the second novel in the St. Marin’s cozy mystery series by author ACF Bookens. The mystery and the suspense just keep coming in this interesting sequel to the first!

Secrets in the family, a dairy farmer that is now dead, and an amateur detective going over a case– what could go wrong?

Harvey Beckett is back, and her bookstore is doing well in town. She’s at a local shop one day, the type that goes from the farm to the table. The last thing that she thought she would find when browsing would be a dead body.

The local farmer wasn’t very popular, and now he’s dead. The corpse was found by Harvey near the cooler that holds the ice cream, and she’ll never look at ice cream or coolers the same way again.

She’s shocked by the discovery but is too curious to avoid looking into what happened. Her interest in what happened takes her to the daughter of this unfortunate farmer. She quickly finds herself in the middle of a huge family drama that’s more risky than one might think.

Harvey’s in over her head, but this time she’s determined to get to the bottom of this death. Can the bookstore owner find a killer and help the local sheriff figure out what’s going on? Or will she discover that curiosity killed the cat? Pick up a copy of this amazing second book to find out for yourself what happens in the end!

I’ve just finished reading book three of the series and was wondering in which book Daniel and Harvey would get married. [text removed] I love this series and will keep reading, but I would rather find things out on my own. Please keep adding to this series, as I’m soaking them up like a sponge.
