“Dark Peak” is the first stand alone novel and was released in 2017. Just how far would you go to protect a secret?
Mitch Walker was left for dead in the woods as his sister was getting kidnapped, some thirty years back. Now, circumstances pull him right back to the spot where she disappeared. He finds evidence connecting his sister to a number of girls whose disappearances are still a mystery. Mitch has to face the fact that she might have been a victim of this serial killer that is known as the Blackden Edge Murderer.
Elly Cooper, a bestselling author and former journalist, has been tasked by her agent to investigate these disappearances for a possible new book. She needs to figure out if the rumored Blackden Edge Murderer is more than merely an urban legend. It’s Elly’s last opportunity to get her failing career back on track and confront her personal demons.
However uncovering the secrets from the past can often have dangerous repercussions. Elly and Mitch are about to get drawn into a web of murder, deceit, and lies. A web which stretches on back forty years yet is still snaring its victims even today.
This story has so many turns and twists that it keeps you reading and right when you believe you know who did it, there’s another twist and another turn to throw you off.
“The Flat” is the second stand alone novel and was released in 2019. What do you when nobody believes you? Kate moves into the top floor of this rambling house on the coast hoping to begin a new life with Greg, her husband. After a pretty rough year, this move to the seaside town of Whitby is a fresh beginning, and an opportunity to forget about the past.
However Kate starts feeling that she is being watched constantly, even inside the walls of her new home. She sees a car leaving the house and driving onto the moors in the middle of the night and hears footsteps in the attic. The cops have been combing these moors for a missing woman’s body and Kate believes that she knows who may be responsible. However she has been in trouble for making fake accusations in the past so the cops won’t believe her this time around unless she can uncover some concrete evidence to back her claims up.
When she goes searching for this evidence, she finds that nothing is like it appears and the building that she lives in now hides a chilling secret.
“The Flat” is a riveting psychological thriller with a heart stopping twist. Get reading for gripping suspense and edge of your seat surprises.
