Will the dinosaur hunter find what they are looking for and help the young boy win that shiny red bike? What hiccups will they encounter along the way, and how will they resolve them?

This book comes with a wealth of information that young readers will find intriguing. The author explains how lizards and birds are related to dinosaurs. Even though there is a fantasy element where the author shows a dinosaur running the neighborhood, most of the content is educational. The illustrations also stand out, and it is impressive how the author pays attention to every detail. They come with emotions and expressions on the children’s faces, so the young ones have one more reason to keep chuckling as they read through the story. The animations also make the search for dinosaurs look so real.

There is more to like in this little book. First, there is an adventure that is sure to keep every child entertained. How to Catch an Elf is a captivating story about an Elf and the traps a group of children lay in order to catch him. It has been quite a year, but all the kids are waiting for is Santa on Christmas Eve. He always comes with his helper, so since the kids know how fast Santa is, they have settled on catching the Elf. However, even this is not to be as easy as they think. Santa has experienced the tricks before, so he first sends the Elf down the chimney before getting in to deliver Christmas presents. The Elf also knows some of the tricks and is able to escape unscathed enough times.

This story is told from the Elf’s point of view. The Elf clarifies that the only reason the children want to catch him is to prove that he and Santa are real. Do you think that the kids will manage to catch the Elf? What kinds of Traps do they lay for him? This is a cute book that will have you hooked right away. It is incredible how different it is from the Christmas books in the market. Hearing the story from the Elf is refreshing, not to mention the mischief the kids get involved in. It is evident that Wallace put a lot of effort into crafting this book, yet the author maintains the language at a level that kids in kindergarten will understand.

Aside from the intriguing storyline, this book comes with excellent illustrations. These are done in Christmas colors making this a great read during the holidays. It is also a good Christmas gift for the young ones. There is some action and adventures that the kids will find exciting, and it is funny how the characters come up with all kinds of tricks to catch Santa in the act. Just like in his other stories, Wallace has done a great job with the illustrations, and these, together with the rhythm, will keep the young ones reading to the end. The writing is also funny, and some of the lines will leave your children in stitches.

How to Catch an Elf is an exciting story that will put you in the mood for Christmas. The main focus Is on Santa and the Elf, who are trying to deliver presents while avoiding the traps set by the kids. You will love hearing the conversations between Santa and the Elf as they overcome one challenge after another. The traps the children devise are also hilarious, and it is impressive how the Elf is able to evade most of them. If you are looking for a holiday-themed entertaining read for your young ones, this little book is perfect. The copy is 32 pages long, and illustrations take a good portion of it.
