About Aden Polydoros
An American author of Young Adult science-fiction and thriller novels, Aden Polydoros is well-known for his inventive and immersive stories. Really capturing the attention of his audience from the outset, he pushes the format of the genres forwards, taking them in new and interesting directions. Letting his work speak for itself, he brings it all to life with a real sense of vitality, making it feel wholly authentic and believable. There’s so much to enjoy within his books, as he delivers it all in a straightforward manner that immediately gets to the point.

His books really understand their audience well, providing just what they want, while also saying something different in the process. Keeping them guessing with each and every turn of the page, his many stories are both engaging and compelling in equal measure. Widely regarded for his expert sense of world-building, he really manages to deliver on every level, allowing his readers to fully explore his writing. He’s also gifted at establishing a real sense of pacing and momentum, keeping the reader fully invested throughout, as he builds the suspense.

Another key feature to his work is that of his characters, as they really do come alive off of the page, making a long lasting impression. With many of his protagonists returning as his series progresses, he gives each of the them a real sense of purpose and drive. Coupling that with a fully three-dimensional personality that they can relate to, and his audience are coming back for more time and time again. There’s plenty more to come still, with lots more planned on the horizon, as he’ll carry on writing for a long time to come.

Early and Personal Life
Growing up in Illinois, Arizona, Aden Polydoros would grow up with a keen passion for all things literature, with an interest in both reading and writing. Developing as time went on, he would turn his interest to the craft of writing, focusing his attention on refining and honing his skill. Taking much of his inspiration from the world around him growing up, he’d also take from his love of genre fiction as well.

Attending Northern Arizona University, he’d later go on to receive his bachelor’s degree in English, finding his own voice as an author. Visiting flea markets and antique fairs in his spare time, he’s always on the lookout for his next big idea to help inspire him. Currently still writing to this very day, he continues to write at a steady pace, as his writing builds from strength-to-strength.

Writing Career
The first book that Aden Polydoros would publish was titled ‘Project Pandora,’ coming out back in 2017 to much acclaim. It would also begin his much loved ‘Assassin Fall’ series of books, as he would go on to follow it up with ‘Project Prometheus’ the following year. Also released in 2018 was the novel ‘Hades Rising,’ which was the third in the series, following on from the previous two novels.

His initial series would be Young Adult science-fiction, but he’d also write stand-alone Young Adult fantasy novels as well. The first of these was ‘The City Beautiful,’ published in 2021, and then ‘Bone Weaver’ in 2022, and ‘Ring of Solomon’ in 2023 just one year later. All of this would add up to a strong literary career, and one that he will carry on with, as more and more discover his work every day.

Project Prometheus
Coming out through the ‘Entangled Publishing’ label in 2018 on the 28th of August, this would be the second book in the ‘Assassin Fall’ series of novels. Continuing on from the first, this would pick up from where ‘Project Pandora’ left off back in 2017, and it’s best they’re read in order. Combining science-fiction and fantasy to thrilling effect, it’s aimed at a primarily Young Adult audience, making for a compelling story all round.

Along with two other ex-assassins, Hades is leaving a trail of the dead behind him, as The Academy once took everything from him. Previously killing for The Academy, Shannon and Tyler are confused as to why they’re only focusing on Hades, as they’re tracking down scientists and assassinating them. Looking to do whatever it takes to protect Tyler, Shannon also wants to seek the truth about her own past, as she will even go to teaming up with her rival to get what she wants. Can they all find what they’re looking for, why is The Academy after only Hades, and who, exactly, is behind Project Prometheus?

Continuing the story in a fun and engaging manner, this is a highly inventive sequel to the first, really capturing the essence of what made it work. With an excellent sense of world-building, it fully works on multiple levels, allowing its story and characters to come alive on the page. The characters of Hades, Tyler, and Shannon are also very well developed, making the reader root for them the whole way.
Bone Weaver
Originally published in 2022 on the 20th of September, this arrived through the ‘Inkyard Press’ publishing imprint. A stand-alone high-concept fantasy novel, it’s a book that can be read on its own, with its entirely self-contained narrative. Aimed at a Young Adult audience again, it’s easily accessible to a wide-audience, making it ideal for both fans of the author and the genre.

There’s a conflict brewing between the elites endowed with magic and the superstitious underclass hanging just on the brink of revolution. Living with her adoptive family of undead just outside of the conflict, seventeen year old Toma is disconnected from the tension taking place within the Kosa empire. Meeting Vanya, who’s been labelled a witch by his common neighbors, and the Tsar Mikhail who’s recently been dethroned, the three of them form a bond, looking to put a stop to Koschei the revolutionary leader. Will they manage to restore order to the kingdom, can they restore Mikhail’s magic, and what will finally become of the Bone Weaver?

There’s plenty to enjoy here, with a number of themes and ideas underpinning the narrative and plight of the characters. Again excelling in its sense of world-building, it really manages to create a fully immersive and realistic fantasy environment for the reader to explore. Every step of the way it keeps the reader completely invested in the outcome, as there’s lots of humor and heart throughout its narrative.
