Alexandria House is a former Registered Nurse turned bestselling romance author who is known for writing relatable and steamy stories of black love.

House published “Higher Love” her debut novel in 2016 and has been writing ever since. Since then she has more than thirty works to her name across half a dozen series, a poetry collection, some novelettes, and a number of short stories.

Alexandria has made a name for herself writing swoon-worthy male characters and engaging dialogues with Everett of the “McClain Brothers,” series a fan favorite.

The author calls herself the leading proselytizer and purveyor of black love.
For her work, she has been the recipient of many awards over the years and her works have consistently topped the charts on Amazon and many other digital platforms.

In addition, her works have made many must-read lists and been featured on prestigious publications and websites that include Bookriot, Oprah Magazine, and Shondaland. Alexandria is also the author of two projects on Audible Original.
Outside her writing pursuits, she works with Joan Vassar a fellow author at the “Audio in Black,” a platform that gives voice to black authors.

When she is not writing her novels, she can usually be found engaging her readers on a range of social media websites or engaging her addiction to fashion.

“Let Me Love You” by Alexandria House is the story of Jo Lena Walker and Everett. Everett is introduced as a businessman and legendary rapper that falls for Jo Lena Walker.
When he is first introduced, we learn that he also goes by the name Big South. At the opening of the story, he is lounging at home in his massive bed with a groupie.

He has quite the reputation as a divorced man that does not care much for real relationships since he has had so many failed ones. At present, casual connections is the meat of his love life but this will change when he lays his eyes on Jo.

He had mistaken her for one of his groupies and she had been pissed while he was turned on. But what he did not know is that Jo is a spitfire who could upend his entire life.

Jo Lena Walker is a single parent and divorced to boot who focuses on raising Natalie her daughter. When she is not doing that, she is often hanging out with Bridgette her best friend whose career she loves to support.

All she is looking for is a nice quiet life making a living working for an insane Koran boss. When her boss tells her to take some expensive-looking jewelry to some unknown residence, she never thought it was an errand that would turn her life upside down.

Everett is the kind of man that is going to show her true love, even if he seems like the most unlikely person to do that. But is she ready to embrace the love she never believes she would ever have?

Alexandria House’s novel “Let Me Hold You” is the exhilarating story of Kim Hampton and Leland McClain.

The latter seems to have it all with his love for older women, the love of his family, a red hot career in the NBA, and enjoying his single status.

But everything goes to the dogs when he stumbles into Kim Hampton while playing for the Miami Heat. The problem is that Armand her son has also been playing for the same team and they soon develop some friction.

When he is offered an opportunity to move up, he leaves the Heat for the chance at winning a championship ring. He joins the St Louis Cyclones where he will not only play but also train and mentor aspiring basketballers.

It is there that he runs into the woman he once met in Miami in Kim Hampton.

On her part, Kim Hampton believed that she had the toughest luck when it came to men.For the longest time, she had always attracted the violent and abusive men that she had finally given up.

She does not believe Mr. Right is out there and moreover, she has to take care of her son who is known to go into a rage whenever a man just looks at her.

It is definitely an abusive relationship where her son treats her with so much over-protectiveness that it would seem like she was the child.

But she is tired of random hookups and being alone and lonely and when Leland comes into her life, she cannot help but be overpowered with his genuine love, his desire, freedom, and presence.

“Let Me Show You” by Alexandria House is another brilliant story of the McClain Brothers series of novels. This work tells the story of Nolan McClain and Bridgette Turner that were introduced in the first novels of the series.
Nolan was often accompanied by a white woman (preferably Swedish or Russian) at every event that he attended. Because of his outward preferences, most of his friends and family believed that he would marry a white girl.

Nolan did not at any time bother to correct them letting them rib him about it, even though he never let on that he had a huge crush on Bridgett Turner who is black.

Bridgett Turner happens to be the personal assistant to Jo Lena Walker. She is also an aspiring actress who wants to make it big in Hollywood.

At present, she is not looking for a long-term relationship and survives on short-term flings. Things are going well for her as she has just been cast as a supporting actress in Nolan and Everett’s movie.

For Nolan, this is just the chance he had been looking for to make his advances on Bridgett. But whenever he is within an arm’s length of Bridgett he loses it and cannot control his nerves.

Sure he can make some conversation but it never goes according to his well-laid plans to seduce her. But then he saves her from an almost sexual assault one night and it is game on.
