Alexis Hall is a fantasy and romance writer who still views the 21st century as the future. While he was born in the 1980s, Halls feels cheated because he never drank absinthe, stayed in a garret, or danced with a courtesan even though he survived a fin de siècle. Luc has also to play his part and play the boyfriend Oliver needs for his date.
As it happens in most fake relationships, feelings begin to develop, and the fake relationship starts feeling real. What will happen now? Can two people who have little in common fall in love and enjoy a fulfilling relationship? This is an intriguing love story about two young people who find love in the most unexpected way. While theirs start as a fake relationship, it is admirable how Luc and Oliver protect each other. You are going to cheer them on as they fall in love and discover that they are not too different after all. The author takes you through Luc’s and Oliver’s daily lives, and their humorous banter is sure to leave you in stitches.
Boyfriend Material is a captivating read with fun characters. The humor shines through every scene, awkward or otherwise, making this a perfect choice if you are looking for a cute and funny read. Behind the fun is a tale of courage and determination. Through the characters, we see the importance of standing up for ourselves and taking action where necessary. The world is filled with unkind people, and we have to choose to live our lives no matter the hardships life throws at us. This story is so incredible it will make your heart swell and leave you with a smile.
Glitterland
Glitterland comes first in the Spires Universe series. The book stars Ash winters and Darian Taylor, two different people who become close over time. Ash was once a golden boy in the literary world. However, life happened, and now he is a clinically depressed writer who spends his time writing pulp fiction. He had given up on love and happiness a long time ago, and he had also tried to end his life a few times. Life between cycles of illness and the pressure that came with other people’s expectations was no fun. However, a chance meeting at a stag party is about to change all that. The socially awkward Ash has no idea how he got in the arms of Darian Taylor.
Essex Boy Darian is an inspiring model. All he knows is fake tans, hair gel, and fashion shows, and he loves everything about this life. As he admitted to Ash, he wasn’t the best partner Darian could get, but at least he could cook. Darian could also make Ash laugh, something that he hadn’t done in a long time. The more these two interact, the more Ash’s life changes for the better. Sure, they had little in common, but Darian had a way of bringing joy to Ash’s rather dull life. However, after all the years he has spent living in the shadows, Ash has a hard time trusting that his happiness could last.
This hilarious story is told from Ash’s point of view. The author has highlighted his struggles with depression and the panic attacks he endured whenever he found himself in social situations. For anyone who has ever gone through depression, Ash is so relatable. You will sympathize with him and rejoice when his life starts to change. Darian is just as lovable, and his humor, accent, and his personality will have you drooling. It is amazing what difference one person can bring to someone’s life. While Ash and Darian are so different, they build such a beautiful relationship. They are both so funny, and once feelings start to develop, they are protective of each other.
Glitterland is a really entertaining and sweet story. It is incredible how the author hooks you up in the first chapter and makes you fall in love with the characters. Darian is the guy everyone wishes to have as a friend, while Ash is likable even with his grumpy attitude. You will also love Hall’s descriptive and lyrical writing. The narration is also superb, and once you open this book, you will want to keep reading to the last page.

I am almost finished reading something fabulous and I love it. Have not stopped laughing reading it. Love Bonny and Valentine, great characters. I want to ask if there will be another book following this one? I am keeping my fingers crossed there is more to come.
I just finished reading For Real and loved it! I am now searching for all of your books because that book was wonderful! I fell into the characters and became them, because your writing was so good. You went right to my brain and I’m still in that world though I have finished the book. I wish everyone wrote at well as you.
