Alyssa Day is a female author famous for her American RITA award winning. She was born in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her father worked with the air force making her able to travel all over the world during the childhood days .Having been brought up in different parts of the world, she developed interest in writing. She is now a successful writer having started her work in the year 2007.Recently; she was nominated as the best New York Times and USA today bestselling author. In her career, she has managed to write novels using romance fiction .In fact she was nominated as a board member of romance writers in America. In addition to her romance writing, she writes comedy novels. Her novels have featured in several series. She graduated from capital law school and Ohio State University. After her graduation from law school, she managed to work as a practicing lawyer in different firms. She later married a man in the navy and now her family is settled in Florida somewhere near the sea. She currently has two children.

Further to her writing, she has managed to win another prestigious award for using romance in her writing; the choice award. This was back in 2012.She has a collection of books that have really moved people. Her two famous books ` Atlantis Rising’ and `Atlantis awakening’ have featured in her warriors of Poseidon series. Other books have featured in the tiger’s eye mysteries and the cardinal witches series. The Atlantis Rising book and Atlantis awakening are her first early books .The Atlantis rising is based on a story of a social worker by the name Riley Dawson. Alyssa has based her story on things that happened eleven years ago where some warriors who were being led through some set rules. They could also manipulate elements. The love plot is intriguing enough to make someone keep reading. The rules had been specifically set to be broken by them. The warriors were being used as sentinels in that particular world. In this book, she uses a lot of fiction by giving the sea a human attribute where she says that It was during that period that the seas could swallow humans.

In addition to the Atlantis rising book, she points out that only the Atlanteans had the capacity to access the ocean. It’s a full fun story that uses little things to predict what will happen next. It shows old school romance making it unique. The book brings out some sex scenes that could happen in the ocean. The waves in the ocean could roll and are connected to the sexual urges. In the same book, she brings in another character, the high prince who goes by the name Conlan. The prince had serious issues when it came to intimate emotions. In addition, he had a mission of helping him retrieve a trident that had been stolen. He had been filled with all the desires that a human could have. He had set his mind in a mission to reclaim the power that Poseidon’s had. In the book, Conlan tries to share the challenges he faced in his quest to reclaim Poseidon’s power. In this context the main question that was being put across was the fact that if there are two souls that are completely different, they can only live in two different worlds. It’s also clearly stated that forbidden love cannot be successful in two different worlds. The justice is hot and the love usually has a sweet ending.

In the Atlantis awakening book, the Poseidon warriors’ had risen with a mission to rescue the world from the overwhelming evil. They had come from the Atlantis .There is a character by the name Ven who comes to seek the king’s vengeance .Ven believed he was born to serve the king and it was his birthright. Furthermore, he believed that he could win any battle challenge. In fact, he could look at the other warriors of the king and tell them that the only person who could challenge him was only one female character. Ven had a lot of work to do to save the human from vampires. This means he could liaise with humans to win. Ven (Atlanteans warrior) was ready to face the vampire master(Caligula). Ven decided that he could not use diplomacy to win but instead he could only use a sword as the only weapon that could guarantee him to win the war. Between him and the vampire master was a challenge of getting rid of beautiful witch (Erin). If he fell victim to her sexual allure, he would lose the battle against the vampire. Falling for the witch would take all the strength he has to face the vampire master. Erin had a supernatural power that could even melt Ven’s heart.

Erin had her family was murdered hence her heart was filled with vengeance. She lives to the day she will get her revenge. All her children had been eaten by the vampire. She comes up with a master plan to partner with the Atlanteans warrior in her vengeance. The sad part is that she had been planning on how she would get her vengeance for 10 years. The hindrance she had was that she was being stalked by the master vampire. There are so many barriers that are building around her. She even gets emotional as she partners with the legendary warrior. Erin and Ven are unable to resist their passion for each other. They are both trapped as they shift alliances. Quinn is another character who was the human leader of the vampires. Ven and Erin had to form an alliance to defeat their common enemies; the vampires. Ven does everything within his capability after falling for the witch to protect her.

These two early books have outlined the beautiful characters making it an incredible story with a flow. They show a lot of adventure and how men and women complement each other. The story line is so believable that one finds it very enjoyable. Alyssa novels in Poseidon series has been voted as the bestseller .Currently, she does not have a book that has made it to TV show or a movie. Some of her other books that show continuation of the story are; Atlantis redeemed and Atlantis unmasked.

Alyssa Day continues to dominate in romance fiction novels. She is still one of the top romance writers.
