Ananya Devarajan is a new voice on the literary scene. She is the author of Kismat Connection, a fictional novel. Kismat Connection is published by Inkyard Press as well as HarperCollins and was released in 2023.

Ananya attends the University of California Irvine, where she has chosen to major in neurobiology and behavior and minor in English. Her plans for post-graduation involve going to medical school via the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, New York.

The author is a young adult and a second generation Indian American, just like many of the characters that she writes. Ananya first developed a love for telling stories through Wattpad. There she was able to gain a larger audience by being a featured author. She would also later win first place as part of TeenPit 2019.

Ananya currently writes romance novels for young adults that have all types of chaotic Desi characters, as well as tons of swooning banter and light drama with a twist. When she has free time, you can find her watching some of her top Bollywood movies or studying for an Anatomy exam.
