There have since been several more stories published in this engaging series, including the eighth book in 2018, No Further. Trigger Point is the thrilling first novel in the Gabriel Wolfe series! If you love stories that are full of action and twists with political tones, then check out this debut in a series that is nonstop from start to finish.

Gabriel Wolfe is a former SAS captain. He’s been hired by an interesting client named Sir Toby Maitland. Maitland just happens to be a billionaire that wants Wolfe’s services in his quest to get a seat in political office. But Gabriel is about to find that his new boss has plenty of ambitions, and not all of them involve Parliament.

The ex-captain has his doubts about this new gig, but he’s committed to keeping one eye open as he figures out the scope of this assignment. It quickly becomes apparent that Maitland is constructing a juggernaut, and it’s picking up speed. With a showdown about to take place with the prime minister that’s currently in office, Wolfe is going to have to utilize every bit of his training and skill set as well as strength and determination to tackle what is about to come.

If he is successful, he just might be able to keep a country from descending into dictatorship. He may be in private services now, but his dedication to the nation has never wavered. Wolfe may be determined, but he is also going to need the help of some old friends if he is going to get the job done.

Gabriel turns to Britta Falskog, a former love interest that belonged to the special forces in Sweden. If you’re going to have one woman in the field on your side, you’re going to want it to be this one. Britta is known for her incredible skills as a sniper. On top of being an expert shooter, she is tough and has a charming grasp and personal interpretation of English.

Britta agrees to join forces with Gabriel on this one, and it’s a good thing that the two of them are battle hardened, because they’re going up against some serious bad guys. The pair are eventually going to come up against a number of obstacles and foes, including the Hells Angels, who never back down from a fight.

They’re also going to come up against Davis Meeks, their chapter president. The two may also end up facing Bart Venter, a former secret policeman with the South African law enforcement that has turned to selling arms on the black market to anyone with the cash to pay for them. Add on top of that some British Skinheads with one that holds a vendetta on Gabriel, and these two are about to find out that they are in over their heads.

Wolfe is now dealing with his fair share of threats, and he also has a lot going on in his personal life. He has been trying to cope with his PTSD. It’s a parting gift from the last mission that he did when he was in the SAS. He’s never been the same since they went to Mozambique and Mickey Smith fell in those forests. Gabriel still has dreams of his comrade and thinks of him in his sleep and when he is awake too.

Haunted by the past, Wolfe must summon his inner strength and do what he can to take on a mission that’s bigger than he ever dreamed. Will he and Britta be able to make it through this in one piece? Or are Gabriel’s opponents too big to fail? You’re going to have to pick up a copy of this action-packed debut to find out!

Blind Impact is the thrilling second novel in the Gabriel Wolfe series. Readers first got introduced to Gabriel in the debut, and now this veteran of the special forces and security consultant is back in another riveting story from Andy Maslen.

Wolfe has found himself in a military-run hospital after an unfortunate collision with a truck. While at the hospital, he finds out that an individual may be sabotaging RAF flights. The top secret flights are being messed with thanks to a strange performance-enhancing drug, and the results are fatal.

Things are heating up when Chechen separatists kidnap two women of British citizenship. With an airshow coming up, Wolfe finds himself tasked with finding the victims, rescuing them, and preventing any more pilots from dying.

Gabriel is now in the middle of a mission in Estonia to track them down and bring them back before Farnborough Airshow starts. Still haunted by his guilt over his comrade’s death, can Gabriel get it together in time to stop two tragedies from occurring? Read this book to find out!
