The lead characters of the book include Garrett Hawkins and Sage Weston. At the start of the book’s story, it is shown that Garrett Hawkins is a valuable asset to his team of Special Forces. He does not have the fear of death because the women he loved with all his heart was abducted and killed around one year ago. Since then, Garrett has turned himself into a tough man, ready to take on any mission without caring for his life. He likes to keep himself engrossed in the missions as it does not give him time to remember all the good times he had with his lover, Sage Weston. His latest mission requires him to move into Thailand’s jungles, where he is tasked with rescuing several kidnapped workers. Garrett Hawkins’ world is turned upside down when he sees that one of the kidnapped persons is Sage Weston. She and her medical team, all of whom were believed dead, were alive. At the beginning of the story of the book, it is depicted that Zeke Hayes all that it takes to be a brave Sergeant in the battalion of Special Forces. He has another side to his personality with which he has dominated and made happy numerous submissions from Vancouver to Mt. Rainier. But, when Zeke comes across his newest submissive, the game looks totally different for him. Zeke Hayes saves Chestain Rayna from traffickers is South Asia. He sees her as the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and this begins to become a problem for him. Zeke Hayes knows that he can never think of living with a single woman all his life. His upbringing as an orphan in Seattle has made him get acquainted with some hard facts of life. So, Zeke believes that trust leads to disappointment and love brings agony.
