Angela Verdenius is a bestselling novelist who is best known for her paranormal romance fiction. However, she has also written contemporary romances, science fiction romances, two novellas, several short stories, and even a zombie story.
The author was born in Victoria, Australia and as a child, she lived in many places both in the outback and in towns. Growing up, reading had always been something that she loved to do and she always dreamed of one day becoming an author.
Some of the works that she used to read during this time include history, horror, fantasy, myths, romance, and legends.

Angela published Heart of an Outlaw her debut novel and the first of the Love, Heart & Soul series of novels in 2011.

She has since become very prolific and has more than forty works of fiction to her name among them several series of novels, novellas, and short stories.

Verdenius currently makes her home in Western Australia.

Despite her wild success as an author she still works a day job as a nurse.

She has been known for having a love for animals which has gotten her involved in anything to do with animal welfare. This perhaps explains why her cats love to hog her hot water bottle and her bed.
As such, she is a mixture of things as she is a daydreamer, full-time worker, mystery series fan, cat owner, supernatural horror movie buff, bookworm, and writer.

When she is now watching horror movies, working as a nurse, or reading romance fiction, she can often be found sitting at her ancient computer.
At her desk, she can sometimes be found trawling the internet looking for upcoming horror movies and funny cat clips.

Doctor’s Delight by Angela Verdenius tells the story of a plus-size nurse named Cherry. Like many women in her predicament, she is full of insecurities since people have made fun of her all her life.

When she turns 35 and is tired of being the perpetual virgin, she goes looking for someone to deflower her. One of her best friends suggests that she hire an escort service, which she does for the night.

While nervously waiting at the motel, a man comes into the room. He is a bit tipsy but he is as handsome as a Greek Adonis. She does not ask too many questions and it is not long before they are doing the horizontal gymnastics.
On his part, Rick had been surprised to come into his hotel room to find a beautiful woman who was seemingly waiting for him.

He was very much aware of how attractive she was with her look of innocence and curves, even if he was a little intoxicated. He decides to let loose and live a little as he gets involved with the beautiful woman.
When he comes to, she is gone and then he realizes that he just slept with a virgin after going into the wrong room.

Cherry soon realizes that the person she was supposed to meet never arrived as he had been involved in an accident and that she slept with a stranger.
Things get even more interesting when both of them learn that they work at the same hospital.

Angela Verdenius’s work “Cop’s Passion” is a work that tells the beautiful romance story of nurse Maddy Lovett and police officer Mike Carson.

Maddy is a curvacious woman while Mike is a heavily muscled man who always gets women salivating whenever he passes. She thought of herself as pretty easygoing and independent until she met Carson, the Neanderthal living next door.
Mike has always been an old-fashioned man when it came to women but then he had a few run-ins with Maddy. There has always been a discernible chemistry whenever they meet but also a lot of fireworks.

She often gets angry with him and this combined with her sharp sarcasm and wit makes for quite a funny scenario. It is not long before he begins having thoughts of the sweaty and hot kind with Maddy.

He is surprised at his thoughts but also likes the curvy woman whom he finds very arousing. On her part, Maddy has been having a hard time with her family who have telling her that she needs to lose weight so that she can get a man.
But Mike will not let her have such a negative attitude about herself and instead provides her with a lovely, passionate, romantic, and hot relationship.

A little old-fashioned, he strongly believes that it is up to him to protect all women, particularly Maddy whom he now considers his woman.

“Vet’s Desire” by Angela Verdenius is another riveting installment in the “Big Girls Lovin’ Trilogy” that tells the story of Tim Clarke and Cindy Lawson.

The former is a rich cynical man who had always heard that he was not good enough for his mother. His mother felt that given that he was a veterinarian and not a medical doctor, he had not fulfilled his potential.
For this reason, he always goes for hard-edged women who would not get hurt when he tells them he is not interested in a relationship the following morning.

Over the years, he has realized that many women wanted him for his last name and his mother’s money and hence he has a lot of disregard for relationships.

As for Cindy Lawson, she is a plus-sized woman with a heart of gold though she sometimes has a very snarky attitude.

She has never had interactions with the Playboy vet but when one of their kittens falls ill they have to call Tim. The man is impressed with the effort and time Cindy puts into the raising and care of the kitten and this brings the two close.
As his feelings for Cindy grow, he is warned by his friend to stay away from her as she is the type to marry but he just cannot keep his distance.

It is an excellent story of self-image, love, and rejecting the image foisted on one by society and family.
