Anna Belfrage is an author of fiction. She was raised while her family lived abroad, so she grew up with a mix of Latin American, English, and Swedish knowledge, culture, and traditions. She speaks several languages as a result. She enjoys reading historical novels.

Anna was born on September 27. She has always had a vivid imagination and carries with her tons of stories that could turn into the next potential book she is writing. All of the ideas that she has for her stories are set in the past. She always thought that she would work as a writer or historian for her job and originally hoped that maybe she could even find a way to do both ideally.

Anna always wanted to be a pioneer when it comes to the field of time traveling. She would be game, but unfortunately, it sadly appears that science has not gotten to that point yet. So since time travel through time and space is not yet feasible for the average person (or anyone out there as far as we know), this author had to consider what her other options might be.

In the end, she decided to go to college to study business and finance. She got her degree and then found that she did not have as much time as she used to when it comes to her hobbies. She did what she can and tried to both juggle a career that challenged her every day and to be a mother to the four children that she was determined to raise.

She brought her kids up on a variety of stories that she made up out of thin air as well as debates about historical events combined with massive tables set with food and cakes. Her kids seem to have enjoyed it and it was a matter of balancing her home life with her professional life for this writer for many years. Somewhere in between all that was happening she managed to find time for creative outlets.

Anna is now spending a lot of her free time hanging out and finally having some more space to write when she has a moment. She even has a desk! It is easier for her to write now since her children have grown older and do not require as much attention.

She finds that at times the house is really quiet and it is at times like those when she goes into her imagination. On occasion, her partner will come in to see if she is still in the house or not after it has been a while.

Anna Belfrage is the creator as well as the writer of The Graham Saga. This series of fiction kicked off for the first time in 2012, when the exciting debut novel was released. The sequel came after it shortly after. The third and the fourth book came out later and there are nine books with room to grow in this awesome historical fiction series. Check it out for yourself and see what you think!

A Rip In The Veil is the first novel in the series from Anna Belfrage. Things are normal for Alexandra Lind, a young girl that has her whole life in front of her. She’s just living her life on a muggy day in August when all of a sudden, the year changes. It is no longer 2002 like she expects.

Alexandra for some reason has gone back in time. She has been hurled a few centuries back to the 17th century and time traveled without knowing how to do so all the way back to 1658. It is a crazy thing to happen to someone but apparently that is the reality of the situation and she will just have to choose to accept it.

She is wondering whether she will be able to get back to where she came from. Alex also knows nothing about the area or the customs of the time. Right away she finds that she has run into Matthew, who happens to be on his way back to Scotland. That’s where home is, now that he has escaped. The convict is tall and on the skinny side and covered in rags.

He has hazel eyes and she believes that he might be a hermit or eccentric man of the woods. Alex slowly starts to understand that if anyone is the outsider here, it would be her. She is the one who is from another time entirely. Almost immediately she realizes that all of the comforts that she has been used to have been ripped away.

Everything her is different or that would be to say, less convenient. Matthew might be able to help her. Maybe he can even help her get back to the time that she came from. But with his own problems to deal with and he might not even have the energy available. With the risks building up, Alex needs to figure out a way to get back fast.

If she can’t, then she’ll just have to stay here and build a life. Is that something she might want? You will have to read this book to find out!

The second novel in the Graham Saga series is titled Like Chaff In The Wind. Last book we met Alex and Matt Graham for the first time and watched the sparks fly.

Matthew really messed up when he became the sole reason his brother was missing a nose. Luke Graham had him kidnapped and moved to Virginia to sell him into indentured labor. It’s 1661, and no one seems to care that he shouldn’t be here.

The more he protests his innocence, the worse the tasks that he receives are. He has little food and the days are long. No one lasts on this plantation– not for seven years. But Alex will not let her husband die there.

She intends to bring him home, worried what she will find in Virginia. The journey is fated to take longer than she thought it would. Can she track down her husband before the worst happens? Pick up this historical fiction dramatic novel to find out!
