Bestselling author Annette Blair, born in the year 1970, began her career writing Regency, Amish, and Victorian Historicals but hit her stride (as well as Bestseller lists) with contemporary comedy.

She left her job as the Development Director and Journalism Advisor at Mount St. Charles in Woonsocket, Rhode Island so that she could become a full-time writer.

Her romantic comedies owe their beginnings to a reluctant trip to Salem, Massachusetts and a root canal.
