Annie Seaton is a bestselling general romance and romantic suspense author who makes her home in New South Wales.

From her home on the beautiful North Coast, she can look out over the peaceful Pacific as she pens her works. She is now living her dream life as a full-time author ever since she left the 9-5.
Ever since she published “Holiday Affair” her debut novel in 2012, she has turned out to be quite a prolific author.

She has now written more than six dozen works across several series, single-standing titles, collections, novellas, and contributions to series by other authors.

Annie has now become known for contemporary and romantic suspense novels that usually have a happily ever after ending.

She currently makes her home in Australia, where she lives with her husband. Since Seaton is in her early sixties her two children and all grown up and have left home.

Seaton’s love of history and reading began when she was still very young. During those days, she would often be found carrying a book or two no matter what she happened to be doing.

In fact, she still remembers her teachers confiscating several of her novels when she was found reading them under the desk. Her love for writing was honed when she was in primary school and had to take part in many composition classes.

It would only grow when she studied and graduated with a degree in History and English. She would then be inspired by the natural beauty of the landscapes in Australia.

She used her passion for raising awareness of the need to preserve pristine areas to pen her works. Her works have won several awards including the ARRA awards and the AUSROM TODAY Reader’s Choice Awards.
Aside from her writing, she loves to travel across Australia with her husband. Annie Seaton has been known to even her fabulous beachside property to have adventures in remote areas of Australia.

It is from these jaunts that she sometimes gets inspiration for some of her novels. In 2021 she had adventures in Cooktown and North Queensland.

Annie Seaton’s first twenty novels were either published or accepted by American digital publishers or if not were self-published. Still, she always dreamed of seeing her novels in Australian brick-and-mortar bookstores.

Nonetheless, the fact that several of her novels were accepted for publishing made it possible for her to flex her writing muscles and hone her craft.

It was at a time when she was putting out four to five novels every year, even as she was busy with editing deadlines. Nonetheless, her novels were for the most part read in the United States, even though they were available in Australia.

When she was informed that Pan MacMillan was looking for new authors she could not have been more excited.

Seaton submitted her manuscript of about five thousand words to Pan Macmillan’s commissioning editor before leaving for a Tuscany Workshop in 2014.

It was while she was waiting for a flight to Rome from Dubai that she got the email telling her that they loved her work. The editor told her he would be taking the manuscript to her next acquisitions meeting.

She was in London meeting with some clients that needed her to be their editor when she received the good news.

Pan Macmillan called to say that using the first five thousand words of her popular work Kakadu Sunset, they would be contracting her for three works.
