About Anyta Sunday

Coming from New Zealand, the author Anyta Sunday is an accomplished of fantasy romance novels, largely from a gay perspective. Working with a slow-burn format, this is something she has been doing for a number of years now, focusing on characters who gradually fall in love over the course of the novel. This also looks at characters who never knew they were looking for love, as they go on to find it in the most unexpected of places. Her stories, therefore, are more diverse in their approach, with a whole range of different perspectives and outlooks, including pansexual relationships, along with bisexuals and demisexuals to name but a few. At the center of her material though, is the idea that love really does know no boundaries for all of these individuals, largely focusing on the male perspective.

This has led to Sunday becoming a huge success worldwide, with scores of readers from all across the globe relating to her and her material. It has crossed many boundaries in this respect, largely due to the universality of its approach, thus ensuring that she has gained a huge following of loyal fans. This is something that she will continue to do for a long time yet, as more novels are expected to continue for a long time yet.

Early and Personal Life

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, she was born and raised as a New Zealander, something which would come to shape her outlook on life and literature. Growing up with a love for the art-form, she would read writers such as Roald Dahl, who would introduce her to literature at an early age. She would later move across the world, including from Germany to America and back, as she’d find her place in her twenties.

Keeping herself active, she also enjoys a whole range of different pursuits, including hiking, which she does in-between writing her books. This also allows her to find new and exciting ideas, as she would turn to contemporary romantic fiction, largely from a gay male perspective. Still writing to this very day, she continues to put out work from her home in Berlin, where she will carry on writing into the future.

Writing Career

Beginning in 2011, Sunday would start with the novel ‘Veined’, which would also begin the ‘Guardian of the Angels’ series too. Using elements of fantasy, it would follow the progress of a young girl after she comes out of a coma only to discover that she has special powers. This would then pave the way to further success as an author, as Anyta Sunday would quickly become a household name worldwide. With a number of other series, she would then go on to write a number of romance novels, which she would see success with, thus making the name that she has today.

Phoenixed

Initially released in 2014 on the 1st of July, this would first come out on the Kindle, being published to an already eagerly awaiting audience. Setting up the third and final part of the ‘Guardian of the Angels’ series of novels, this continues on directly from where the last left off. Following on in a similar vein to before, it definitely has a voice of its own, taking the franchise in new and exciting directions.

Finalizing everything, this book aims to wrap everything up in one conclusive finale, allowing it all to come together. Looking at the character of Sylva once again, it charts her progression from the beginning, right up until the last thrilling battle. Knowing exactly where the story and the narrative is going, Sunday writes with a sense of confidence quite unlike any other. The world building is also extremely impressive too, as she builds upon what came before, creating something that has a real lasting impact.

In the final instalment of the trilogy, Sylva Lark must do whatever it takes to protect the three keys to Eirene, as this is essential. This will prevent the Derinyes from storming into the realms of heaven and taking it for themselves, something which must be stopped at all costs. One major problem, though, is that this could have a huge impact and cost on Sylva, as she may find that it destroys everything she ever cared about. With all the characters coming together, including Marcus, Attic and Alyse, it well seem them battling the forces of evil one final time. Will they manage to prevail and pull through? Can they keep their own souls intact? Who will ultimately become phoenixed?

Pisces Hooks Taurus

The ‘Signs of Love’ series is a markedly distinct franchise that really sets itself apart from the rest in its market, with its astrological sign theme running throughout. Featuring a different romance in each novel, it looks at gay relationships between male characters, with this one coming out through the Kindle. Setting up the fourth title in the series, this would provide another stand-alone romance, with this being released on the 14th of October in 2018.

Working as romance, this story, and series, provides a gay perspective on the romance genre from a woman’s outlook. Not expecting to find love with members of the same sex, it allows the characters to question themselves and what they thought they knew. This makes for an extremely engaging experience, allowing the stories to come alive, as the characters really find themselves and who they are. The world of the novels is also light-hearted too, allowing for them to be fun and casual reads, not needing to be read in a particular order of any kind.

Looking for love, Zane wants to have the ideal relationship with the woman of his dreams, settle down and live happily ever after. All that he’d need is a bit of inspiration and some creativity and then everything would finally fall into place, meeting the woman right for him. That’s when his visa suddenly runs out and he must get the help he needs to stay and finish his plans of finding love, when all of a sudden he finds it in the most unexpected of places. Meeting with a male English professor he doesn’t expect the two of them to find each other, but soon things start taking a somewhat different turn. Will they find each other and what they’re looking for? Can they overcome their differences? What happens when Pisces hooks Taurus?
