Ariel Marie is a paranormal romance author that is a lover of hot steamy romances, action and paranormal fiction. As such, she is known for combining the three in most of her novels.

For the longest time she has been a lover of shifters, vampires and every type of creature one could think of. She has not only been reading about them but also watching them in film.

She has also been known to love science fiction, historical romance and military fiction. Since she started reading fiction from a very early age, it has become her go to escape even in adulthood.

Aside from writing and reading, she works in the transplant field as a registered nurse. In her leisure time she can often be found with a novel in hand that she used to escape, away from life stressors.

Marie was raised in Cleveland, Ohio which is the city where she still makes her home alongside her husband and children.

She fell in love with storytelling when she was still very young. The first book she fell in love with was “Mickey Meets the Giant,” which she read so many times that it practically fell apart after a few months, leaving her devastated.

Three decades later, she is a writer of novels who hopes that she can write novels that have readers reading her stories over and over. Ariel loves all manner of romance even though paranormal romance will always be her favorite.

She just loves writing about the first meeting of a couple, the magnetism of their eyes, the first kiss while throwing in aspects of faes, witches and shifters among other paranormals. She has said that her favorite part of writing her paranormal romances is all about making the settings in which her characters live in.

When she is not writing her novels, she can unusually be found spending her time with her little children and husband. She also likes to bake and cook and can often be found trying all manner of new recipes.

Ariel Marie was one day in a reading funk and just could not get anything that kept her attention.

She has always been that reader that is always thinking how she would have spun a story she has just finished reading. Marie has a very vivid imagination and even as a child, she always thought it would be great to be a performer even though she cannot dance or sing that well.

One day after reading a book she found particularly flat, she thought Toni Morrison could not have been more right. He had said that If you cannot find a book good enough to read then you have to write it.

However, her road to publishing was quite instructive. She has never had any creative writing training and hence writing was quite a challenge. Still the fact that she decided to become an indie publisher helped a lot.

After researching online, she thought publishing her own books on Amazon Kindle was the best route. She was vindicated when her books went on to become very successful on Amazon and other independent platforms.
