About Ashley Jade

Using the pen name of A Jade on occasion, the American author Ashley Jade has been writing for quite some time now. Dealing with different genres and tropes through the prism of romance, she really has created her own unique style in the process. Reaching readers worldwide, she’s become a hugely popular household name, appealing to a national as well as an international audience. This can be seen reflected within her sales, as she’s reached the top of numerous bestseller lists, including the USA Today and Wall Street Journal.

Knowing her audience exceptionally well at this point, she delivers what they’re looking for, allowing them to lose themselves in her work. All of this whilst setting herself apart from other writers currently working within her field, allowing her to stay entirely true to herself. Combining elements of erotica and dark romance, she establishes something of her own in-between these niche genres. This approach then allows her to occupy a space of her own, saying what it is that she wants to communicate with her writing.

Creating richly complex characters, too, she enjoys looking at human nature, too, with its many intricacies and flaws. From this, she gains some intensely interesting perspectives, allowing her to shine a light on subjects not otherwise written about typically. All this whilst never forgetting to truly entertain her readers, providing them with a real sense of escape through her fiction. Continuing to grow both upwards and onwards, she will carry on evolving as an author for many years to follow.

Early and Personal Life

Raised with a strong interest in the written word, Ashley Jade would grow up with a keen passion for reading and writing. Discovering her own style over time, she would come to refine and hone her distinctive approach as an author and novelist. Growing up in the United States, she’d continually be looking for new and exciting ideas to help inspire her next big novel.

Mainly focusing on the romance genre, she would come to make this her own over the years, seeing how it could be used with different genres. Soon becoming a bestselling author, she would continue to rise in popularity, reaching scores of readers both far and wide. Still working and writing to this day, she continues to put out work and stories regularly on an ever consistent basis.

Writing Career

The first book that Ashley Jade would write was back in 2016, as she would begin her writing career with the novel ‘Blame it on the Shame.’ She would quickly follow this up with parts two and three that very same year, as they would all comprise her debut series, ‘Blame it on the Shame.’ Focusing mainly on romance, she would feature numerous adult themes and ideas in her work, with some intense sensuality running through her fiction.

Over the complete course of her career, she would come to write several romance series, including ‘Complicated Hearts Duet,’ ‘Devil’s Playground Duet,’ and ‘Complicated Parts.’ She would also produce some stand-alone titles too, which were also written in a similar vein, along with creating an omnibus edition. Maintaining a presence both offline and on, she continues writing to this present day, with lots more to come yet.

Broken Kingdom

The fourth and final title in the ‘Royal Hearts Academy’ series of novels, this book provides the epic conclusion to the romance series. It’s best the books are read in order so as to understand what’s going on fully, properly comprehending the family dynamic contained within. Initially released through the Kindle platform, this would first come out on the 8th of October in 2020 to much excitement.

Once Oakley Zelenka was a bad boy who lived a hedonistic lifestyle, but then he made a huge mistake, one which has feels he can potentially never forgive himself for doing. Running into him at university, Bianca is engaged to Stone, but she bumps into Oakley, not initially recognizing him at first. At first, he attempts to hold back from her following the wishes of her brother, but soon things begin to change as she gets her memories back. Will they finally end up together once and for all, can they both overcome the hardships of the past, and what will happen as they attempt to mend their broken kingdom?

There are some very well-managed scenes here, and what it does, it does exceptionally well, managing to really elevate the action. The romance is expertly drawn out, making for a highly engaging story with some beautiful character development featured too. It’s a perfect example of what the genre can really achieve, as it’s easy to read, with a strong, engaging finish to an already exciting series.

All In

First arriving on the literary scene back in 2021, this would make a powerful impact upon its release on the 5th of August that year. Marking the third book in the ‘Complicated Parts’ series of novels, it provides another self-contained romance, as the books follow on from one another thematically. Dealing with complicated relationships, this Kindle-based series looks at the difficulties couples must overcome in order to be together once and for all.

While Preston loves Kit with all his heart, he’s still trying to protect her from the truth, which is why he keeps secrets from her. Hoping that she can forgive him when they finally do come out, he is still to deal with his inner demons in a healthy and final manner. Meanwhile, Kit must deal with her own issues, as she not only must deal with her love for Preston, but she’s also questioning her sexuality too. Will they be able to deal with their difficulties and finally end up together, can they put the past behind them finally once and for all, and what will become of them both as they claim themselves all in?

This is one book with so many different emotions that it really is a roller-coaster ride, with its rich and diverse story and characters. The central protagonists themselves are incredibly well-drawn, making for a very compelling story that rings accurate the whole way. Its world is also very well drawn, using what came before in the previous books, whilst also standing on its own two feet as a good, solid romance novel.
