Beatrice Blue
Beatrice Blue is a freelance visual development artist and illustrator that loves traveling and exploring the splendor of the natural world. She has also lived in many places.

If, for any reason, she cannot be found, she may just be hiding in some cabin inside some lost mountain located somewhere in the world. Beatrice always carries around with her a banana shaped pencil case that she has loaded with pencil colors, as well as storybooks, actual fruit, and sketchbooks. Oh and sticks which she picks up off the floor as well.

Besides traveling, she loves talking to kids, and music. Her favorite materials to work with are the iPad Pro, oils, watercolors, and pencils.

Beatrice gets inspiration from many different places. Sometimes from walking through the woods, her dreams, images, stories, films, colors, the light, childhood memories, or possibly general thoughts on a specific manner.

Her intricately detailed and richly colored creations convey a strong sense of whimsy and invite the viewer right into her fantastical realm.

She has undertaken creative work for Huion, HarperCollins, DreamWorks TV, Apple TV, Lightbox Animation, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Quarto books, Procreate, Frances Lincoln, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, as well as others. She is also the founder of the popular “Childhood Week” challenge on social media.

She’s never been to a college or university, but has studied in Madrid for two years, and then New York City for another three, and then on her own after that. She has also taken some online classes as well.

Beatrice began painting and drawing since she was about three years old. But she didn’t get serious about it until she got art school at the age of sixteen. She has continued doing art because of her parents, who have always encouraged her to make the best of herself and find happiness in everything she makes and does. Moving to New York City study anatomy when she was nineteen helped a lot too. Her teacher and friend at the time, Amaya Gurpide, which made her get really deep into drawing and painting as well.

She lives with Dani, her husband, and Jungle, her dog. She is constantly surrounded by some great adventures, as well as a ton of snow.

Ignoring the voice which tells him to just leave her alone, he takes her back home, however in a tank she only gets weaker. Can he learn that this creature belongs in the ocean, before time runs out?

This is another lovely little story with a good message from Beatrice, whose illustrations are once more beautiful and colorful. Her attention to detail truly is impressive as each one of the sea creatures looks unique from one another.
