As Diane progresses further with the investigation, she discovers a dangerous web of treachery and corruption. This also makes her realize that no one is safe in this deadly game, including her. But, with her dedication and determination, she goes on to solve the mystery and catches the real culprit in both the murders.

Another thrilling novel written in this series by Beverly is titled as ‘Dead Secret’. This book was published by the Onyx publishers in the year 2005. At the start of this novel, Diane Fallon is shown as making a stunning discovery from the depths of one of the unmapped caves. What she finds turns out to be the skeleton of a decades old caving victim. Shortly after, a couple of more bodies are discovered. One of them is found in a submerged car in an abandoned quarry’s waters, while the other one from the woods in Georgia. Initially, Diane is not able to establish any connection between the three dead bodies except for the fact that all of them desiccated bones. However, she learns about a person who knows much more about the bodies and the possible connection between them. Later, Diane finds herself investigating a mystery dating back to more than 70 years. It has greed, love, as well as murder. The mystery leads Diane Fallon to unearth a hidden family secret that still seems to have the killing power. Diane proceeds further and helps to provide justice to victims’ families by making the culprits pay for their deadly crimes.

I LOVED this series and was sad when I read the last one. They kept me on the edge of my seat and couldn’t put them down! Any chance there may be any more?

I have read and re-read all your novels since I discovered one grave too many. I unfortunately read far too quickly , having done a speed reading course way too many years ago. As such I learn something new each time I read anything you have written. Don’t stop writing. Regards SarahB
