Karter’s involvement with some shady people sees him sent to a vampire house, where the vampires use him as a walking blood bag. Not only does he serve as their blood bag, but he also gets the vampires to fall in love with him. Brea Alepoú clearly understands how to craft steamy scenes, with some rougher than others. You would think this is a tale about Karter’s reconciliation and going back to his wolfpack while at the same time hooking up with the sexy vampires along the way. While the story does gear towards that direction and fades away, it eventually returns near the end when Karter’s sister finds herself in serious trouble. Overall, “More Than Blood” is an intriguing read, especially if you are looking for a paranormal romance novel that’s both hot and fast-paced. It’s a book that promises to keep you hooked to the very end.
