She is best known for writing sexy romances across more than eight series and more than forty novels. Her Bridgewater historical romances feature unapologetic bad boys that fall hard for the heroine, to make for hot sizzling stories.

The stories of the series are set in a private and secluded town in Montana named Bridgewater, from which the series gets its title. It is a town inhabited by people that have developed a reputation for a polyamorous lifestyle, with as many as three men living with one man.

The series started with a woman named Ann coming on a steamship from Europe with her father When she learns that he had chosen a man for her to marry in New York she runs away.

But there is nowhere she can go on a steamship and she ends up staying with a handsome soldier that was residing in a stateroom. The man who is a former soldier believes the only way he can save her from a forced marriage is to wed her himself.

Ann is surprised that the man she had met only a few days before would do everything he can to protect her. But what she does not know is that he will be marrying both him and Andrew, a fellow soldier.

The three then move to Bridgewater and start their new and happy polyamorous relationship where she is loved and cherished by both men.

“Their Kidnapped Bride,” the first novel of the “Bridgewater Menage” series by Vanessa Vale is the story of Emma James.

At the opening of the novel, she wakes up in a drunken stupor to find she is no longer at her brother’s home, where she had always felt safe. But it is her loving brother who intends to sell her to a brothel run by a stern-looking madam.

She pleads with her brother not to sell her but he is adamant that she has nothing left outside the brothel as he has spent the last of their inheritance. After her brother left, she is given two options by the madam – either be sold off at a bride auction where she could be someone’s wife or earn her keep working as a prostitute at the brothel.

After carefully considering her options, she decides to get auctioned off only to end up with two husbands. They are two former military men in Ian Stewart the Scotsman and Whitmore Kane the Englishman.

The two love the alluring woman and have big plans for her. Once they bed her, they intend to groom her into the perfect wife for both of them.

“Their Wayward Bride” by Vanessa Vale is the second novel of the “Bridgewater Menage” series of novels. At the opening of the novel, we are introduced to a woman named Laurel Sinclair who lives with a brute of a father that wants to sell her off as part of a business transaction.

She runs away from a forced marriage in a raging Montana blizzard and nearly dies from the elements. The stranded redhead is found by Brody and Mason, two handsome ranchers that take her in, intending to make her theirs.

They believe that over time, they can convince the beautiful young woman to marry them both. But Laurel is unfamiliar with the polyamorous concept of one man getting married to two husbands which is very popular in Bridgewater.

Over time, she comes to love Mason and Brody, who introduce her to carnal pleasures she had been unaware of. Over several weeks, she comes to love the two men for their protection and guidance.
