Jamie Watson wants a scholarship to a school in the same area as the last result alternative. Though it is located next to the residence of his estranged father, he is also attracted to the fact that he gets to Charlotte. The meeting of Watson and Charlotte is at first filled with negative energy until they are forced to work together after being implicated with a murder case.

Charlotte and Jamie meet under an atmosphere of negative energy only that Jamie is attracted to her as he admires the lineage of the detective family. Though he tries to keep a distance, they find themselves being drawn together after a copy cat tries framing them for murder at the college. Someone has come up with a string of murders all which are framed on the two characters which imitate most of the killings that the ancestors of Charlotte solved. Charlotte is seen to be the main suspect since one of the slain students had a messy relationship with her making her the first suspect. The cases on their hands seem very much like those that their fathers had to solve back in their days. The two are forced to join hand and clear their names since the suspicions and connection of events mainly point the two as the persons behind everything. As they start working together to solve the murders, a friendship grows between them and eventually turns out to be romantic.

The story is just amazing with the development of characters that are original and given roles that make the read enjoyable. The inclusion of mysteries holds your attention as you seek to unravel them together with the characters. The author carefully arranges events that detail a high level of creativity through the story.

.
The investigations end up unraveling many hidden secrets including a series of art forgeries. The case becomes huge putting the two on a dangerous road that might even fix them to the same situation that they are solving. As they work together to solve the puzzles coming their way, they grow closer to each other developing a relationship.

The Case for Jamie

The Case for Jamie comes third in the NewYork bestselling Charlotte Holmes Series. A year since the shocking death of august Moriarty, life has taken different turns for Jamie and Charlotte. While Jamie is trying to concentrate on his studies, Charlotte is trying to get away from her mistakes Lucien Moriarty.

She is sure of one thing- Watson can never forgive her for the mistakes she did. The separation between these two does not go on for long since someone who has been slowly observing them tries having them work together again as a team. It’s clear that there is someone out there who wants to see one suffer while the other dies.

Charlotte is a brilliant, calculating, observative and humorous girl who is sure to go after what she sees right. After the happenings of the last August, Watson is mad with Charlotte and seems to have gotten over her and started a new life. It does not go long before he is asked to help in looking for her by his uncle. In the course of finding her, he finds himself trapped in a series of events that seem to implicate him and Charlotte.
