Brittney Sahin is an Amazon Top Ten and Wall Street Journal of thriller, suspense and romance novels. She started writing very early in life as she wanted to get published before she turned eighteen. She would later get sidetracked by academic pursuits and later got sucked into a career in teaching. These would interrupt her aspirations even though she never stopped imagining or writing. It was not until she was encouraged by her students to start writing that she moved out of New York and headed to Charlotte North Carolina to pursue her dreams. In Charlotte, she began writing again and by 2015 she had published “Silenced Memoires” her debut novel. She now has more than two dozen novels over several series to her name. Over the years, she got married and now has two children that she loves to bits. When she is not writing her novels, she can be found spending time with family, binging her favorite shows late into the night, buying T-shirts on Target and enjoying coffee, wine and music while reading suspense novels.

Sahin decided to get into suspense and romance genres after reading Stephen King’s “The Shining” as a thirteen year old. It was this novel that would be the inspiration for a career as a full time author. Still, she is a lover of all types of romance and is passionate about thriller/suspense novels and hence thought that she could have something good blending romance and suspense. Unlike many authors who have MFA or attend writing workshops, she does not have any training in the craft of writing except for a few writing courses when she was still in college. This was more than a decade before she wrote her debut and since then she has not had much training. Much of what she knows she has learned from her WordsRU editor Sarah. As for her influences, she has for the most part been influenced by contemporary romance. Since she loves a very particular style in romance suspense, much of what she reads is contemporary romance. Much of the romance suspense she finds usually has too much action or is heavily deficient in suspense when she often craves romance in what she read. As such, she often writes what she would like to find on the shelves., Some of her biggest influences in romantic suspense include Marliss Melton, Samantha Young and Julie Garwood.

Brittney Sahin’s “The Safe Bet” is the story of Kate Adams. She is accomplished professional who works in event planning and has for the longest time kept her professional and personal life separated. At the opening of the novel, she is working on an event that had been contracted to her by the Maddox siblings. She has worked on tens of other events just like this one except that this time she has to deal with Michael who always gets her nervous and tongue tied. She thinks of him as the perfect catch but only if he was not her client or if he did not prefer one night stands. When she is threatened by some stalker, Michael is willing to go to any lengths to ensure her safety but he still will not open his heart or share his secrets. Kate is struggling with her heart as Michael is dealing with the dear of sharing his secrets. Together they also have to deal with a vicious stalker which draws them even closer together. It is a captivating debut that combines suspense and romance and takes the mixture of pleasure and business even further.

In “Beyond the Chase” by Brittney Sahin, Ava sees her world turned topsy-turvy when she walks into her lab to find her precious laboratory equipment and her boss missing. But then she meets a handsome Irish stranger she believes is somehow involved and her libido is in overdrive. Slowly but surely, she starts undergoing a beautiful transformation. She goes from shy girl to seductress as she takes off her lab coat and spectacles and gets personal with the handsome Irishman Aiden. She transforms into a fierce and more confident woman but still retains her very intelligent side. Now that she has met Aiden she discovers her place in the world and the spirit which had long been buried inside her. When she had walked into his bar looking for answers to questions that have the man instantly on the defense he never expected that he would fall the temptress in a labcoat. But she is never going to accept a no as an answer and it is not long before he is attracted to the danger and is burrowing into his heart and under his skin. The mystery and suspense of the story makes the readers fall hard for the handsome but gentle Aiden as he has something about him that gets just about everyone hooked. Maybe it is the gallant protection of Ava, his rugged looks or thick accent that grabs at the heartstrings and never lets go.

“The Hard Truth” by Brittney Sahin is the story of gun for hire and former marine Connor Matthews. He is not the best among businessmen and when his father unexpectedly dies the family business is left to him and his brother. Since he does not know anything about business, he only agrees to take the reins while his brother completes a tour of duty in the Middle East. Connor does not like it but now has to contend with the life of paperwork and dull meetings only made worse when he finds himself deep into the shady under dealings of his father. In the middle of all this is the headstrong and gorgeous Olivia Taylor that was once his girlfriend. Since they had parted ways Olivia has known nothing but loss, heartache and grief. Despite everything that had happened she had built a great life for herself and left Connor Matthews behind. She has survived a lot more than most other people would but Connor can ruin almost everything if he were to come back into her life. She needs to cut all ties with the past and with Connor if she is to survive and thrive. But will she be able to forgive him and live her life.
