Cherry L. Wilson is a Georgia State graduate and an award-winning author. Chery L. Wilson attained her Bachelor’s Degree in English, majoring in creative writing. But where did it all start? Unlike other authors who developed an interest in writing over the years, C.L. Wilson knew from when she was a kid. In fact, she wrote her first story at the age of 6 and has never stopped writing.

After college, Ms Wilson was a technical trainer, marketing product manager, and marketing manager for big companies in technology. After quitting her job, it was when she got the time to publish her first book.

Family
Ms Wilson is married, and she lives with her husband and three children in Florida. If Ms Wilson is not plotting a new book or planning her characters’ next move, she loves hands-on activities like crocheting, knitting, and playing the Elder Scrolls game. Besides, everyone needs time to relax. Ms Wilson also loves her little treats like ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. Although she feels guilty for not getting on some fat-burning food, she dreams of a world where chocolate and other such snacks are calorie-burning foods. We can all relate at some point. Let’s not forget about reading! Do you know how reading books can be your own little escape from reality? As much as Ms Wilson is an author, she also loves reading other books and articles!

Career
MS Wilson is also a board member of the Tampa Area Romance Authors. She is also a member of Romance Writers of America, Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), and Georgia Romance Writers (GRW). If that is not enough, Ms Wilson has made a good name for herself as an author because of the different awards she has gained over the years. In 2007, MS Wilson received the Best Paranormal Debut Award from LifetimeTV.com and, in the same year, she also won the Best New Author Award for 2007 for her paranormal romance. She then got another PEARL award for the best Romantic Fantasy novel. After that, MS Wilson continued to achieve more awards, including the Holt Medallion, the Colorado Award of Excellence, two National Readers’ Choice Awards, and the Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence. Her books have appeared multiple times in the Publishers Weekly, New York Times, and USA Today, if that is not enough.

Books She has Written
Over the years, C.L. Wilson has written many books that fit into the paranormal romance and fantasy genres. When C.L. Wilson published some of her first books, they were the lead tittles of Dorchester Publishing’s Leisure Books Imprint. That shows how captivating her books were and how much her audience loved them!

“Lord of Fading Lands”
Among her many published works, one of her paranormal romance series was called “The Tairen Soul.” These books left people in awe enough to purchase the other books. “Lord of Fading Lands” is one of the books in this series that involves a young girl who grows up dreaming of a big world and a better life. She always dreamt of being part of an adventure and experiencing the most beautiful romance story. Her dreams came to reality when Tairen Soul claimed her as his true soulmate.

“Tairen Soul was the most powerful Frey who vanished to the Fading Lands a thousand years ago when he had lost the love of his life. The evil took over the land and took over the entire civilization by killing the Fey people. This is the moment where he lost the love of his life:

The woodcarver’s daughter, Ellysetta, had a powerful side that performed magical and other mysterious things. Her desire for love came with magic, evil and also gave her a dangerous realm of passion.

“Lady of Light and Shadows”
The book “Lady of Light and Shadows” is among Ms Wilson’s “Tairen Soul” series. In the book, Elly, who Rain claimed to be her soulmate, has always feared magic and doesn’t want anything to do with it. But, for her to help the love of her life fighting the epic battle with the evil darkness, she needs to embrace her powers. Her enemies will try to capture her magic and even go to the extent of corrupting the people she loves.

Finding her magic will help her protect herself because the Dahl’reisen, the murdered High Mage of Eld, wants to kill her. But why does the High Mage want her?

This book doesn’t have a lot of romantic scenes like the other books in the series. The book focuses on Rain and Elly fighting the evils surrounding them. Many people die on both sides, and you, the audience, will see the full extent of Elly’s power. Besides, there are a lot of plot twists. The ending sentence will carry away audiences that love romance.

   I was one of the very lucky ones to be chosen to read LORD OF THE FADING LANDS before it was released to the public. I fell in love with the book!! I waited patiently for each new book. I was rewarded greatly with each new release. I have just learned you did write more books! I can’t wait for the store to open tomorrow so I can go get them.
   Thank you so much for these books! They have given me many hours of enjoyment!! I have worn out 2 sets of them, rereading each many times.
   Searching often for new ones you had written, but didn’t find any, until tonight.

   I acquired a book you have written from a friend. I have thoroughly enjoyed it< The Sea King, and I am desperate to find out if you are writing another revealing the fate of Summers sisters and the destruction of Mur Balat. I am waiting with bated breath for your reply.
