Author Cap Daniels is a scuba and sailing instructor, sailing charter captain, pilot, civil servant of the U. S. Department of Defense, and Air Force veteran.

He was raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee. His earliest infatuation with salt water was set off by the fascinating, and occasionally true, sea tales told by his dad, a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. These tales of adventure out on the high seas sent Cap in search of some adventure of his own.

This search eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and Melissa, his wife, own and operate a sailing charter service and they spend as much time as they can on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.

With a head filled with larger-than-life characters as well as their thrilling exploits, Cap pours all of his love for passion and adventure for the ocean into his series of “Chase Fulton” books.

Cap, inspired by Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, John D. MacDonald’s Travis McGee, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jess McDermitt, creates thrilling tales of adventure and action. These are set all over coastal Florida and Georgia and the Caribbean by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. The series promises to keep readers right on the edge of their seats, attempting to guess just what new adventure or danger lies right around the corner..

Cap’s debut novel, called “The Opening Chase”, was released in the year 2018. His work is from the thriller genre.

“The Opening Chase” is the first novel in the “Chase Fulton” series and was released in the year 2018. Chase Fulton, a collegiate baseball phenom, suffers a freak injury on the field that ruins his chances of becoming a catcher in the Major Leagues, his future looks bleak. Then he is recruited into quasi-governmental covert operations, where his training as a cover intelligence operative and assassin thrusts him into a world that is filled with intrigue, danger, and some unexpected passion.

While Chase is navigating the Caribbean, he is pursued by a gorgeous Russian SVR that is trained and prepared to locate, interrogate, and murder him if necessary. He learns just how lethal the realm of international espionage are when love and duty collide with each other.

Cap delivers a tightly wrapped and action packed story with exciting and interesting action throughout. The book has action, romance, and some high seas adventure, and readers were always being surprised by the direction it was going in.

“The Broken Chase” is the second novel in the “Chase Fulton” series and was released in the year 2018. Chase Fulton, now an American covert operative, finds he is onboard a luxury super-yacht off the Florida Keys with a deceased Russian billionaire on deck and a gorgeous SVR officer that he loves standing right over the corpse holding a bloody knife. He believes that his life could never get more complex. He is wrong.

A vow to a beloved friend and mentor sends him right off on a tumultuous quest through the criminal underworld of South Florida to rescue one innocent young woman that represents not just Chase’s painful past, however, could also be his one hope to reach psychological survival in the future.

After he suffers the agony of loss and ultimate betrayal, Chase learns that loyalty is just a veil that dishonor, deception, and treason usually lurk.

Readers enjoyed the suspense, intrigue, boat rides, and all the action found within and they found themselves on the edge of their seat the entire way through. Fans found themselves being hooked right from the start and felt just about every emotion possible as they read this.

“The Stronger Chase” is the third novel in the “Chase Fulton” series and was released in the year 2018. After finding out that he was the target of the most elaborate infiltration scheme by Russian intelligence since the Cold War, Chase vows to coax the complex scheme’s mastermind out of the Kremlin and then into the open. Here, he will exact his revenge. One unexpected encounter with one mysterious figure that claims to have known Chase’s dad opens up doors within a world that Chase wasn’t prepared to enter.

Chase has to confront the demons of his emotions, and the forces of evil that want to destroy him, while he resolves to become a much more lethal, focused, and stronger entity than ever.

Readers find these books to be entertaining and fun. The novel features some interesting new characters joining the fray. It is a wonderful spy thriller and is effective, satisfying, and suspenseful the whole way through. Fans enjoy these characters, plot lines, and all the action and surprises.

“The Unending Chase” is the fourth novel in the “Chase Fulton” series and was released in the year 2018. The Chinese Ministry of State Security unleashes quite the bold plan to sink one massive freighter in the Panama Canal. As part of an elaborate intelligence gathering operation, Chase is called on to infiltrate this operation and turn the tides against its conspirators.

As demanding as the mission seems to be on the surface, what lies underneath the murky waters in the Canal and just past the wall of agonizing memories that engulf the entire city where Chase’s family was once brutally killed. These are the real demons Chase is going to need to face.

Mysterious and lethal source offer Chase the answers he has been tracking down for a decade, however, are those answers just going to lead to much more haunting and deeper questions? His own life is on the line, his past is finally revealed, and some shocking deathbed revelations about the true identity of the gorgeous Russian spy that still haunts his soul. With all of this, Chase has to prove again that when evil calls, men of of honor don’t just stand and face it, however, they rise above it all and then beat it into submission.

Readers have a ton of fun while reading these books, and get excited when each new one is released. Cap pays attention to all of the smaller details in these books, too.

   I’m just starting the book, “The Bitter Chase” and the introductory page mentions a novella, “The Chase Is On”. I can’t seem to find that book! Any suggestions??

   Spent the last few weeks reading all of the Chase Fulton novels and followed that with the Anya Burinkova novels. I enjoyed them all immensely. However, I have to say that I am hopelessly in love with Anya. Her physical beauty aside,she is the most intriguing character since Lizbeth Salander, but with more wit and charm. In fact,she is hilarious, yet deadly. What an incredible combination.

   I have just finished ALL of Cap Daniels adventures. Each has been a joy to read and love the characters. A series on each latter could be written. Love the area of the country the stories are grew up on the beaches of Florida…plus have been an aviator since teenage years. Thanks for the journey Cap.

   I have just finished Cap Daniels’ 10th book in the Chase Fulton Series, The Emerald Chase. I’m hooked, and about to start The Polar Chase. He has become my favorite author, and I highly recommend him to readers who enjoy Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, David Baldacci. I like his character development, and I am also impressed with his editing. Give him a try. I doubt you will regret it!

   I have just finished the chase Fulton series of novels, and have to say I absolutely loved them, I was drawn in from the very start and feel like I intimately know the characters. A great action packed series written so well. Can’t wait for the next one to come out
