Carolina Mac
Carolina Mac, born in Toronto, Ontario, is the author of crime action and adventure. She is a mom, and grandma, as well as an avid reader.

Once her family was fully grown, her passion for poker took her to the casino where she became a dealer.

After she spent half of her life with a Harley enthusiast, she started writing seriously and wound up producing “The Regulator” series, which is a hard-hitting biker saga that is tempered with offbeat humor and sizzling relationships. Her second series, since she has always been a mystery fan, follows the Quantralls, in a P. I. Series set in Texas. “The Blackmore Agency”, which continues with characters from prior books, is Carolina’s newest passion.

When she isn’t writing, she is either reading, or in a used bookstore trying to find books she has yet to read.

Carolina’s favorite part of being a writer is having one of her readers talk to her about the characters in her books, referring to them as actual people, and asking her questions about them. This is what makes her happy.

“Quantrall” is the first novel in the “Q-File P. I.” series and was released in the year 2017. Jesse Quantrall is known throughout all of Texas as a millionaire horse breeder and oilman, however, when his dad passes on, could he be more than just an heir to an inherited life full of luxury and leisure?

As he reevaluates his own sense of purpose, one frantic phone call pulls him right into a sinister plot of violence, kidnapping, and greed. Even though he has little to go on, he has to piece together who is behind it and what exactly happened if he is going to save anybody. But is he going to get there in time?

Carolina does a fantastic job of fleshing out these characters and making them larger than life. It is a fast paced story with twists and turns that keep you coming back for more. It runs the gamut of emotions and are taken along for the ride.

“Ice Minx” is the second novel in the “Q-File P. I.” series and was released in the year 2018. Quantrall Investigations is hired to locate Kent Lessard, who is a well respected attorney in Austin, Jess takes on a sinister foe.

With his own personal life in shambles, he puts his heartache aside and puts his life on the line to get justice for his client.

Readers enjoyed reading about the investigation and the novel makes for quite the page turner. Fans found themselves really liking Jesse, as he is basically a good guy. The novel has some interesting twists and some surprising conclusions to it.

“Ray Jay” is the third novel in the “Q-File P. I.” series and was released in the year 2018. As Jesse Quantrall hunts through three states for Ray Winger, a mentally ill cowboy that’s gone missing, Jesse’s youngest brother discovers his girlfriend savagely killed.

Pressure begins to mount as Jesse is torn between help out his brother and locating Ray before he self-destructs.

Fans love the way that Carolina vividly describes all of the action in her books. Each of these characters are fantastic people. Readers find that it is easy to get hooked on these novels, as her ability to create intense adventures loaded with suspense and action help capture the reader’s loyalty to her stories and characters.

“Blacky” is the fourth novel in the “Q-File P. I.” series and was released in the year 2018. Jesse, after his partner in Quantrall Investigations gets kidnapped and held for ransom by a biker gang, searches all over the countryside with Red, his bloodhound.

After many attempts on Blaine’s life, Jesse has to come up with a plan of crushing the biker club and get his partner out alive.

“The Coven” is the fifth novel in the “Q-File P. I.” series and was released in the year 2018. Homicide detectives are confounded by the murders of multiple young women in a rural area just outside of Austin, Jesse puts his hot new romance right on the back burner.

He and his group of investigators use their special skills and put their lives at risk to capture two strange killers.

“You Forgot to Say Goodbye” is the sixth novel in the “Q-File P. I.” series and was released in the year 2018. Jesse is focused on figuring out who murdered his ranch foreman and then stole his prize Appaloosa stud. At the same time, a previous case rears its ugly head, and pressure mounts.

Some unexplained accidents cripple a Quantrall investigator and kill one of Jesse’s long-time friends, he starts digging deeper.

“Double Down” is the first novel in the “Blackmore Agency” series and was released in the year 2018. One ruthless lawman, the war between cartels, and one bloody fight to the death.

Blaine gets an S.O.S. call from the mom of his ex-girlfriend, he goes off to Colombia in order to locate Fabiana. The Blackmore team, who is caught in the middle of a drug war between two cartels, is in way over their heads. In this last ditch effort, they pull out all of the stops. Is it going to be enough, though?

Readers found this to be an exciting introduction to this new series. It has multiple stories and plots interwoven with one another and makes for quite an excellent read.

“Splitting Aces” is the second novel in the “Blackmore Agency” series and was released in the year 2018. Blaine’s neighbor gets abducted by a serial killer, he pulls out the stops in order to locate her.

As the clock winds down on Misty’s chances to survive, the entire Blackmore crew searches the Texas hill country high and low with their bloodhounds.

“Dead Man’s Hand” is the third novel in the “Blackmore Agency” series and was released in the year 2018. The Blackmore Agency has been assigned to bring down a booming sex trafficking ring. They face apparently insurmountable odds this time. While threats against Blaine begin to mount, he uses all the manpower and resources at his disposal. But is it going to be enough, though?

   What book should I read after Swamp Magic? I want to continue to know more about the lives of everyone from that series. I’m thinking the Sabbats, but saw that Luke is missing. What happened? Where do I find out? I just gotta know. lol.

   I have read your series of books. The Regulalors, QI, The night vipers, and The Creed. I can not recall where Blaine and Misty or Farrell and Gillette got married, Did I miss a book in on e of the series. I have really enjoyed keeping up with Annie and Blaine and the rest of the characters in the books. Thank You

   I have read the Regulator series, the QI seres, the Blackmore agency and the the Creed. I seem to have missed when Blaine and Misty, Farrell and Gillette got married. Also when Farrell and Gillette had their accident. Did I miss that book?

   Is there more books of Axel Hawkins, or did I just over look them? I’m starting to feel sorry for Farrell he keeps striking out with women. Never liked Gillette for him, please give her back to Tommy. lol My heart breaks for Travis PLEASE give him an attitude adjustment with his jealousy, and I would say give him back to Annie but I don’t think you have brought her man in play yet. She needs a tough, loving, calm man that can stand beside her and in front of her, and stand up to her when he needs to. I have read yours series twice now and have my calendar marked for new releases. My hats off to you, love my book families!

   I’ve bought the books with the series out of order. Went back and started with the Regulator book, I’m ready to start the Night Viper set now my question is this, I can’t seem to find where Luke went to New Orleans with Mistie and what happened to him there. I read where he was recovering but didn’t understand from what. Did I just miss it? Loving all the books,I will probably read them all again.

    Read lily, was the best you are a new author for me want to read all of the regulator series, but Amazon only has e book and I still love to hold that book in my hand, lily was fantastic.
