Caroline Fyffe is an American best-selling author. She resides in the Pacific Northwest area along with her husband. They have two adult children.

She was born in Texas in a town named Waco. It was one of what would be many places that she would move to with her family as a result of her father serving in the U.S.A.F. They would often change towns and move around due to his job.

Caroline always had a passion for horses, and that interest continued on into her adult life. She attended CSU in Chico, studying communications as an undergraduate student. Caroline then used that education to become an equine photographer, taking photos of horses as her career for over twenty years.

She did not just photograph horses but also started to develop her writing while doing it. While at the show arena working long days, the author would try her hand at writing fiction in an effort to make the time go by quicker. She found that she was quite good at it and would incorporate her passion for horses as well as her love of the Old West times in America to begin writing historical fiction set in the West.

Caroline Fyffe is the creator and writer of the Prairie Hearts series of fictional novels. Where the Wind Blows was her first ever novel published and it came out in 2009. Caroline has not looked back since and the publication of this first story won her a lot of acclaim and attention. It received the Golden Heart Award from the R.W.A. group and a reader’s award from the Wisconsin chapter of the R.W.A.

Caroline started off the Prairie series with the release of ‘Wind’ and then it was only four more years before a sequel came out. She followed that up with another book and the sixth book in the series was released in 2016 and is titled Where Wind Meets Wave.

Where the Wind Blows is the enchanting first novel in historical fiction author Caroline Fyffe’s Prairie Hearts series! Here readers get to meet Chase Logan for the first time. This is a man that has been a drifter for a long time and does what he wants, living by his own rules.

He doesn’t ask anyone permission to do anything and drifts from town to town. He’s not looking for romance– Chase shut off his heart to love a long time ago in the past. He thinks that he is not looking for love at all, but that outlook may change when he happens to meet a young widow.

Chase isn’t thinking about love at all when he does a kind favor for Jessie Strong. He has no idea that one simple act for a beautiful woman may come to change his life forever. Jessie has dreams of bringing a young girl named Sarah to live with her from the orphanage and wants to raise the child as her own.

When her husband suddenly dies, it seems like she has lost everything. This includes the chance to adopt Sarah from the orphanage. No one will let her take Sarah when she is living on her own and doesn’t have proof that she can provide the life that she needs. That’s where Chase shows up and might be able to help.

Jessie wants a family so badly and if Chase pretends that he’s her husband, then it might be possible for all of her dreams to come true after all. It might not be too late for this widow to find the chance to have a family. She just needs three days fro him in order to do it. But will they find that they have more in common than they think?

Jessie may be falling for this guy faster than she ever thought possible. Can Chase open his heart at long last to love? The person that he never knew that he needed may have been waiting for him here all along, and this loner may finally have a place and a family to call his own. But can it happen? Read the exciting first book in this Western series to find out!

The sequel in the Prairie Hearts series is titled Before the Larkspur Blooms, If you loved the first book in this Western series, then you may definitely enjoy this passionate second installment, one of six in the series!

Wyoming and its gorgeous prairies are the setting of this story of love. When Thomas Donovan went to prison for 8 years, it was to serve time for a crime that he swears that he didn’t commit. The only problem is that they all say that, even the ones who did it. You also have to prove it or have a hearing or a retrial, and that didn’t happen.

Donovan ends up doing the time and finally he is released at last. His plan is to go back to Wyoming and return to Logan Meadows. Maybe he can go home and get his life back again. However, once he goes back he finds out that his parents have died and are buried in the ground (for quite some time now).

Neighbors that he was once friendly with avoid him, and the new beginning that he was trying to get off the ground seems nearly impossible now. Thomas feels like an outcast until a beautiful woman he used to know shows up.

This woman will become his champion and fight for him. Her name is Hannah. When Donovan was sent to jail fro the crime, Hannah seemed to be the only one upset by it. While everyone locally gossiped about how they thought he was a thief, she always thought in her heart that Donovan had been wrongly accused.

The boy that she fell for has returned to town a man. She still has feelings for Thomas, but the deputy sheriff in town is also interested in her. Everything gets shaken up when local crimes start being committed.

Everyone thinks that it’s Donovan, but is it really? Can Hannah convince everyone that he’s innocent and not responsible for the crimes? Read this interesting second installment of the Prairie series to find out!

Looks like if it was written, it has not been published yet. I see no mentions of it on her social media pages.

I love you McCutcheon Family series, hoping you will be publishing more books soon. Like to know how Shad and Poppy are making out. Did Poppy’s father accept Shad? Also a story about Justin the deputy sheriff would also be interesting

I like reading your books. I especially like the series to do with the McCutcheon family. Have you thought about writing a prequel to it about Flood and Claire about how they met and about her abduction and how Flood got her back. I think it would make an interesting story and one I would personally love to read.
