Cate C. Wells is the author of mafia, steamy small town, MC, paranormal shifter romances, and just about any other romance fiction works.

She made her fiction writing debut with the publishing of “Charge,” her debut novel, and the first of the “Steel Bones Motorcycle Club” series of novels in 2019.

Over the years, she has made a name for herself penning emotionally satisfying, real and, gritty romances that usually gravitate toward, grace, messy love, long roads to redemption, flaws, and happily ever afters.
Wells also pens the occasional new adult contemporary romances that she debuted with the publishing of “The Tyrant Alpha’s Rejected Mate” in 2021.

C. Wells has often said that she pens most of her novels from the experience of people she knows and from personal experience.

While she does not have much experience with organized crime or motorcycle clubs, she is a strong proponent of paid sensitivity readers.

These are readers who are members of minority groups or have personal experience with certain topics, who she consults when she has written her manuscripts, to tell her if she has gotten things right or not.

She currently makes her home in Baltimore, Maryland where she lives with her husband and children. When she is not writing her novels, she can usually be found engaging in local politics, stand-up comedy, music, and nostalgia.
Wells also loves reading and some of her favorite authors include the likes of Maya Banks, Jade West, Rebekah Weatherspoon, Charlotte Stein, Ella Goode, Ruby Dixon, Kati Wilde, Kresley Cole, and Taylor Vaughn.

Some of her favorite books include Taylor Vaughn’s “His to Claim,” Sam Mariano’s “Untouchable,” and Renee Rose’s “Wild Card.”

She also loves comfort reads such as “Ice Planet Barbarians” by Ruby Dixon and “Mistress/Wanted” by Maya Banks

Cate C. Well’s novel “The Tyrant Alpha’s Rejected Mate” is a brilliant work of fiction that tells the romance story of Una and Killian. Killian had rejected Una only to realize that she was the center of his world.
Una keeps her head down as in the world in which she lives, females have low rank and she is considered damaged goods given her bad leg.

What makes it worse is that she has never managed to shift. Nonetheless, she does not mind being single in her twenties and no one seems to bother as she builds an illicit farmer’s market empire.
She had been living without a care but then loses her mind when biology kicks in and she claims Killian as a mate, only to be rejected by the man in front of the whole pack.
It hurts a lot, but she consoles herself by saying she would not want an arrogant jerk for a mate and moreover, she has a business to run.

On his part, Killian has had to be hard to lead the pack out of the dark ages. He is merciless, does not make mistakes, and does not flinch.

His shifter has some strange infatuation with Una Hayes but he refuses to believe she is his mate, even though he cannot walk away. He keeps coming back and has recently been living in his head.
As the strongest male in his pack for five generations, all members of his pack listen to his every word and he thinks Una should not be so hard.
But he had rejected her and now she does not seem to care about him at all.

“The Heir Apparent’s Rejected Mate” is a gripping romance fiction work telling the story of Rosie and Cadoc.

Rosie believes that destiny had made a huge error in mating her to Cadoc Collins, as she is a scavenger while he is the crown prince and her people don’t even rank, given how low they are in the pack.
While she should have known better, she let things get out of hand one night and forgot her place in the small town of Moon Lake. While Collins might be powerless to resist her charms, he does not intend to claim her.
But a bigger problem than his rejection is the pink line on a stick. Rejected by the future pack leader and pregnant at eighteen, she might just as well have painted a target on her back.
The good thing is that she is a scavenger who is very good at getting good things from just about anywhere.

As for Cadoc, he fully believes that on his shoulders rests the fate of “Moon Lake,” and hence he does not want to claim the scavenger female.
His pack is about to revolt and by marrying Rosie, he could just turn the volatile situation into an open civil war.

He believes he needs time, but intends to do what is expected of him as the future leader of the pack, once he sorts out the bad politics, after which he will set things right with Rosie.
As the heir apparent, he believes he will have the time and she will be waiting for him until he is ready.

Cate C. Well’s “The Lone Wolf’s Rejected Mate” tells the story of Darragh and Mari.

Mari grew up all alone in Quarry Pack and always dreamed of one day finding a mate, who would take her to his cottage after sweeping her off her feet.

They would then fill their little cottage with laughter, love, and pups, as they make a new family. But she found herself on the wrong side of a “wham bam thank you, ma’am.”
However, the pack believes that the jerk who got her pregnant is a tortured hero who protects the pack despite his dark past.

As for Mari, she hates Darragh with a passion as she sees him as a jerk who lives in the wild and rejects her after getting her pregnant.

Darragh believes Mari to be soft, naive, and too sweet and young to live in the wild with him. She loves to wear party dresses to the garden, read books, sit in trees, and owns mostly pink stuff.
There is no way she could handle the real world and he does not believe there is anyone let alone Mari, who can handle his wolf.

One day she will understand him and maybe thank him, since he believes that his wolf would tear her apart with just half a chance.
