Charlotte Byrd is a contemporary romance author best known for her serials and short reads that are usually energetic and steamy. The author is originally from Pennsylvania but moved to Los Angeles when she enrolled as a student at the Univerity of Southern California.
She met Kevin her husband while studying at university and they have been together for more than a decade. Over the years, she has had several advanced degrees including an education doctoral degree, a writing and English master’s degree, and an applied math master’s.
Nonetheless, writing is something she always desired to do and she always wrote throughout her high school and college years. She would make her home in Los Angeles for nearly a dozen years but ultimately moved to a small suburb just beyond the Joshua Tree National Park.
Charlotte and her husband had visited the area and had fallen in love with the gorgeous nature and beauty of the star-filled night sky. They especially love sitting on their porch listening to the howling of coyotes at sunset.

Similar to many of his contemporaries, Charlotte Byrd has been telling stories ever since he was little. He knew that he wanted to become a fiction author when he was in high school. Nonetheless, he was always filled with trepidation as she did not believe he could make a livable wage as an author.

In college, Byrd got sidetracked and majored in Mathematics and got a math degree before proceeding to teach at a community college. Throughout his doctoral studies, he continued writing fiction and a range of poetry, essays, and short stories.

She has several successes with publishing before she got into romance and found her groove. She ultimately had found an excited fan base and audience and could not have been happier. Charlotte first considered herself a fiction author a few years after she started selling her works and became a full-time author.

As for the inspiration for “Falling for the CEO” her debut novel, it came from watching Sons of Anarchy the TV show. She used to binge-watch the show and began writing her story as part of a fan fiction contest. The work would soon develop into an original series that is now the “Wild Brothers’” series of novels.

Charlotte Byrd now leads the typical life of a professional author. She will usually wake up at 8 am and play with her child before going for a swim and walk. If she happens to be working on a novel, then she will usually work when the kid is taking a nap and then through the afternoon when her husband is usually in charge of the kid.

She has recently been experimenting with dictation and sometimes dictates in her free time and on her walks. When she is writing, she loves to concentrate on her work and this means she focuses exclusively on writing and never checks her mail during such times.
She will sometimes write during the evenings when her husband is taking care of the kid or when the kid has gone to sleep. Despite the challenge of being a mother, she still gets a lot of time to write her novels. She is lucky that since her husband works from home, he helps with a lot of the heavy lifting.

Charlotte now has more than five dozen novels to her name across an omnibus, single-standing novels, and several series.

“Tell Me to Stop” by Charlotte Byrd opens with Olive receiving a cheque from a mystery benefactor through the post. It happens to be the exact amount she needs to pay off the huge student loan she took while studying.
The big question is what the mysterious benefactor wants and will she use the money? She will get the answer to a few of her questions when she gets a ticket to Hawaii from the man who wants to meet her.
She meets Nicholas who comes with an offer. Disgusted with his proposal she leaves Hawaii and heads back home.

She had gone to Hawaii with Sydney her roommate but she had stayed behind since she had met James. Sydney had been so taken with him that she decided to spend a week with him.
Meanwhile, Olive still has to do with family dysfunction and there is all manner of turns and twists that will keep readers busy well into the small hours of the night.

Charlotte Byrd’s novel “Tell Me to Go” continues to follow Olive. She had been made an offer of a million dollars by Nicholas Crawford who wanted her to pretend to be his wife for a year.

While she believes her days of stealing and lying are over, it is an offer that she finds very hard to refuse. She had tried her best to put her hard-won skills and that part of her life in the past but the man needs a partner and she needs the money.
She had blatantly told him that she had no interest in sleeping with him and he had told her that she would end up begging for it.

It turns out that he is right as she soon wants him more than ever, particularly when she runs her fingers over his muscular body while he teases her with his tongue.

Things are even more delicious when he kisses her and puts his hands on the small of her back. She desires him so badly that she wants to scream and beg for it.

“Tell Me to Stay” by Charlotte Byrd continues to follow the life and times of Olive and Nicholas Crawford.

She is not a criminal or thief anymore but she finds herself doing things she had once said she would never do again. Crawford has made her an offer she could not refuse but they are both damaged and dangerous.
Their relationship is something of an addiction that they have to feed even as they are about to head into more murky waters. Truths will be revealed, lies will be told and allegiances will be tested.

They have both made promises that will be too difficult to keep and the many secrets uncovered are just but the tip of the iceberg. Nothing is as it seems but she has to figure it out before it is too late.
