Chelle Bliss is the pen name for USA Today bestselling author whose real name is Rachelle. Before she got into full time writing, she was a history teacher for over a decade. The name Chelle Bliss came about when she started writing novels while she was a still a teacher, and did not want the parents and students to know about her writing. Since her parents had always called her Chelle, it was an easy choice as she only plucked her second name Bliss out of thin air to call herself Chelle Bliss. She has a bachelor in history and a master in Instructional Technology. Nonetheless, she asserts that even as history has always been her first love, writing is her dream job, and she would give up anything to stay a writer. Chelle loves to describe herself as a coffee fiend, social media addict, time-waster extraordinaire, and full time writer. Since she published her first novel “Throttled” in 2014, she has never looked back and has written over thirteen titles since over several series. Having grown up in Ohio for the first thirty years of her life, she had grown to hate the snow and cold and hence the chance to move to Florida in 2007 was a godsend. She loves the palm trees and the sunshine even if sometimes she feels like her skin may peel off from the heat. She lives with her alpha male husband, a hamster, and two cats.
Chelle is an avid reader with a preference for young adult, dark reads, contemporary romance and all things erotica. Growing up she had the same taste in novels that she has now, as among her very first favorite authors she counts the same type of authors. Some of her influences included the likes of Olivia Cunning, Kele Moon, SC Stephens, Tarryn Fisher, and CJ Roberts. As for her kinky or dark reads, she would read the likes of Annabelle Joseph, Kitty Thomas, and CJ among many others. As an adult, her collection of novels shows her narrowing her focus to Dark Erotica with the likes of CJ, Roberts, and Kit Thomas making her bookshelf, while Colleen Hoover and Abbi Glines satisfy her craving for anything young adult. Nonetheless, for the carefree Chelle, no book is off limits except for pure erotica. She will read anything else be it highly sexual or dark as long as it is an interesting story. As for her series of novels, she creates novels filled with characters that are relatable with the everyday reader, having everyday problems with money, romance, and family relationships. She is an avid traveler and names Paris and New Orleans as her most favorite cities, to which she travels to draws much inspiration when she needs to write.
The novels tell the stories of a male and female character who are in their thirties that meet in unusual circumstances. The females in her novels are in relationship but are very bored with their current relationships preferring to spend much of their time alone or with their boring jobs rather with men. Sweet, shy and strong, they long for the type of relationships they have only read or seen in movies. The male in the novels is a playful and honest alpha male that does not hesitate in going for what he wants. However, even as our leads such as City, Kayden, and Michael desperately want the sweet, shy, and beautiful protagonists, they do not rush them in any way to get into a relationship with them. They are alpha male that just know how to apply the most subtle of pressure, and then let their magnetism take over as the object of their desires give in to their sexuality. The female characters from Sophia to Suzy to Dr. Mia Graco are either females given to their careers or insecure or shy women that transform over the course of the series to become sexy and outgoing women. After trying everything in their power to reject the advances of the men, they finally are unable to resist and soon give in, giving everything to their men. What makes the novels so intriguing is that they are not your usual fairy tale narratives as the two protagonists often find happiness after overcoming many challenges and obstacles. The novels are very refreshing with their realistic take on life, that makes use of characters that are for the most part more mature than those of similar novels, to make for highly entertaining narratives.

I have read all the Gallo books and loved every one of them. Have even already pre-ordered Torch. What I can’t figure out is how to get a printed copy of the Gallo Family Tree. I’m 84 years old and not very good with computers.
