Cherry Adair is an award winning and bestselling author of the South African-American origin, who likes to write romantic fiction novels. She is most notably famous for writing romance and suspense novels. Cherry began as an interior designer before going on to become a full time author. She used her creative energy to great effects as an interior designer after moving to San Francisco for the first time. After a short stint into her designing job Cherry shifted her creative energy towards writing novels. She has successfully written the T-FLAC, Lodestone and Cutter Cay series’. The success of her novels allowed her to become a USA Today, New York Times, and Publisher’s Weekly bestselling author. She made her writing debut in the year 1994 with the publication of the first novel of her writing career. Cherry was born in Cape Town, South Africa and moved to the United States when she was in her early twenties. She settled in San Francisco and opened her interior designing business. After some time, she began getting ideas about her own stories inspired by the voracious reading that she liked to do always. And before going on to write and successfully publish her first novel, Cherry had completed writing 17 books. She sold all of them to the Harlequin publishing house in the year 1994. The -FLAC series written by her involves operatives working in the fictional secret anti-terrorist force called as T-FLAC. Her books in the series are classified in the romantic suspense subgenre. With the help of the vast success that she got because of her exciting novels, Cherry became one of the reigning queens of the romantic adventure novels. Other than the romance genre, she also likes to write novels based on the mystery & thriller and fiction genres. She says that she has always been an adventurer both in her writing career as well as in her life.

As of today, author Cherry Adair lives in Seattle, Washington, United States. When she settled in San Francisco, she found the city to be extremely beautiful and was bound by its elegance. It inspired her to start her interior design business. Cherry says that she liked it very much being an interior designer because it was very creative and varied, and also because of the fact that she loved to interact and work with the public. Whenever she used to get any free time from her business schedules, she used to use it for her voracious reading. After reading a considerable number of books, Cherry started developing characters and stories in her imagination. When she eventually became a writer, she stated that those imaginary stories demanded to be told and forced her to begin a career as an author. Cherry is of the opinion that people can have adventure and romance in their lives together. But, she knows that an adventurous, love life is a totally different thing. She also says that her romantic suspense novels provide a heart-pounding experience to her readers and make them happier. That is why, she keeps entertaining them with exciting novels all the time. Other than being a successful author, Cherry likes to keep herself busy with workshops. She gives classes to young readers about the art of creative writing and writing about life. When someone asks her how to become an established author, she advises him to sit on his butt and keep writing and says that there is no other way of doing it. She also recommends that writing is not a play for the whiners and sissies. Apart from writing exciting novels, author Cherry Adair likes to spend time with her family at home. She used her corner desk for writing novels, but gets attracted by the panoramic view of her gardens from her windows. This forces her to come out and play with her daughters. She has an office with built in book shelves with a capacity of holding 3,500 books.

The T-FLAC series written by author Cherry Adair consists of a total of 16 novels published between the years 1994 and 2015. The initial novels in the series depicted a secret counter-terrorist force that involves many operatives who serve for the safety of their nation. One of the initial novel of the series was titled ‘Kiss and Tell’, which was published by the Ballantine Book publishing house in the year 2000. The plot of the novel is set in Montana and Marezzo. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Marnie Wright and Jake Dolan are introduced as the main characters. Marnie is depicted as a grown up girl along with her four brothers, who seemed to be overprotective about her. She is in search of a peaceful soul and ends up meeting with a mountain named Jake Dolan at her grandmother’s old cabin. The meeting takes place in an unexpected fashion as Jake pulls out a gun at Marnie thinking that she has trespassed on his property. He stashes her in his secret underground cabin, which is full of security cameras and huge arsenal. Soon, she realizes that Jake is a military guy and is on a top secret mission. She feels impressed by his way of talking and gets attracted towards his charm. But, Jake does not want to indulge in a relationship because of his mission. Also, he does not like the presence of women around her and does not feel the need to have them. However, Marnie Wright was a sexy woman and any man could easily fall for her beauty. He realizes that if he gets close to her then her life would fall into danger. The novel went on to win the Reviewer’s Choice Award by the Romantic Times in the year 2000 for being the Best Contemporary Romance novel. This motivated author Cherry to write a few more novels in the series.

The next novel of the series was published under the title ‘Hide and Seek’. It was published by the Ivy Books publishing house in the year 2001. The plot of this novel is set in Nicaragua and features the main characters Kyle Wright and Delanie Eastman. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Delanie Eastman is introduced as the spoilt girlfriend of an international criminal. She is seen bracing a remote mountain situated in South America in search of her missing sister. She did not expect to see Kyle Wright over there. Kyle and Delanie were involved in a love affair four years ago and therefore, they know each other very well. She seems to be frightened and suspicious about Kyle as she does see him as the same man whom she knew. Wondering what he was doing there, being away from his home, she gets attracted towards him like a moth gets closer to the flame. Kyle is on a secret mission of his own and does not want to let the unpredictable and gorgeous Delanie to ruin it. He plans to guide her out of the jungle in order to carry on with his plan without any troubles. A single touch sets ablaze the intoxicating flame that was burning inside them and ignites an arsenal full of desire. Their growing attraction could prove fatal for their lives as they were on the run playing a deadly game.

    You should see about making audiobooks i really love undertow and that whole series and would love to be able to listen to the book while I’m at work.
