Christina Jones is one of the award winning novelist from The United kingdom, who likes to write her novels based on the romance and literature & fiction genres. Jones started her writing career in the year 1997, after spending a number of years writing for various sections. Prior to the start of her writing career, Jones was involved in writing newspaper articles and short stories. She used to doing this for earning some extra money along with doing other odd jobs. She says that she has worked for 27 jobs in all. Also, she has faced sacking in as many as 19 of them. The basic reason for getting sacked is that she used to write stories at the times when she was required to work. The various types of jobs that Jones has been associated with include waitress, secretary, market researcher, bookseller, shop assistant, dancer, fruit picker, factory worker, cleaner, a barmaid, nanny, civil servant, etc. And after having gone through all these, she says that she is fortunate enough to become a writer and write full time. It has been a dream come true for her. Now, Jones spends most of her time writing a combination of articles, short stories, as well as novels. Jones is married to a trucker husband and has a daughter. Her family comprises of 17 cats that rescued herself. Author Jones was born in the year 1948 in Oxford, UK. She has resided in a number of cities including Northumberland, Bedfordshire, London, Hampshire, Berkshire, Jersey, and Oxfordshire. Jones likes to give the credit for having a romantic soul to her parents. Her father was a clown in a circus, while her mother was a teacher. They used to always tell Jones about they met and started loving each other, which finally resulted in a marriage. Jones felt highly astonished after realizing the fact that her parents came from different backgrounds and managed to overcome every objection and obstacle in the path of their love. Author Jones used to keep this at the back of her mind while writing each of her romance books.

While growing up, Jones spent a lot of time in Berkshire village. She was quite happy with the tight, working class, and secure community of the village. Due to such a happening surrounding, the childhood of Jones was pretty much happy. Most of her novels reflect the spirit of the village’s community. Even the strong and gutsy heroines in her books represent the community’s women, who were tough, humorous, and quite go-getting. Jones considered them real women in the real situations. Other than all these elements, the books also feature some past experiences of Jones’ life. As a child, Jones was taught to read by her parents, who were themselves avid readers and great storytellers. And the first time she attended to write something on her own was when she was 5 years old. Jones had made writing as an obsession and a way of her life. At the age of 14, she got her first story published. But, it was not before another 30 years that she was able to have her first novel published. And when she actually achieved this milestone, it felt to her like she has achieved the ambition of her life. After winning 2 awards for her short stories, author Jones joined the Association of Romantic Novelists in 1993. She considers herself lucky that she got voted as the runner up for her second attempt for the popular New Writers Award in 1995. It was at this time that an agent approached Jones and suggested her to try creating full length novels. What followed next was indeed a dream come true for Jones. She did not quite have to make any efforts to get her later books published as she was directly approached by the publishers. This motivated her even more to continue to write amazing novels in the future.

The time that Amber spends with Mitzi makes her come to know about various magical things happening in and around Fiddlesticks. Slowly, Amber starts getting closer to her new friends and indulges in the harmless with them. Amber also joins them in the ceremonies and parties.
