A very famous book series written by author Christine Bell is known as The McDaniels Brothers series. This series is comprised of a total of 9 books, which were released between the years 2014 and 2015. Author Christine has described the books of this series as revolving around the lives of the McDaniels brothers named Sebastian McDaniels, Matty McDaniels, and Reid McDaniels. Christine has also described the love interests of the McDaniels in the form of Olivia Beckett, Kayla James, and Lola Taylor. The series is divided into three parts and each part comprises of three books. All the 3 books of one part are entirely dedicated to the story of one McDaniels brother and his love interest. In the first 3 novels, the readers get to read about the romantic story of Sebastian McDaniels and Olivia Beckett. The debut book of this particular series is entitled ‘Fix You: Bash & Olivia-Book One’. It was self-published by Christine Bell in the year 2014. At the start of this book’s story, it is shown that Olivia Beckett one had a very charmed life, but it started to fall apart and she could not control it. She comes to know that her family is going to lose all their possessions and everything they own. If this happens, it will result in the discontinuation of college studies.
Olivia thinks of seeking solace from her sweetheart from high school, but he too acts differently. It seems that Olivia does not recognize the changed boy. She sees the escalation of violent behavior in him, which scares her to be in his company. Olivia’s world is about to get crumbled and there is no one she can turn to for help. Sebastian McDaniels, better known as Bash, is introduced as a new popular name in the world of boxing. He works at a local bar during the night. Bash seeks to get a chance to fight in his dream match so that he could move out of Boston and go as far away as possible from the tragic past of his family. And just when Bash is about to get the golden opportunity, Olivia Beckett enters his life. The two come face to face with each other when Bash saves Olivia from a brutal beating. Following this encounter, they keep getting closer. But unfortunately, Olivia’s former boyfriend comes back into her life and announces that he will not leave her for Bash. This leaves Bash in the situation of a dilemma. He doesn’t wish to let go her and fixing her might cause permanent damage to his heart.
The next installment of this series is called ‘Fix You : Bash and Olivia-Book Two’. This novel was also released by Christine herself in 2014. At the beginning of the story of the book, it is depicted that Olivia faces the truth that her lover was an abusive man and a sociopath. It hurts her very much to realize that her relationship with him was nothing but a sham. So, she tries to move on in life by picking up the broken pieces of the shattered life of hers. Olivia knows she would have handled the situation anyhow, if it was only her suffering because of her mistakes. While going down, Olivia dragged the person whom she did not want to hurt ever.
Sebastian McDaniels was only a few days away from becoming a boxer and moving away from the problems of his life. He didn’t have any plans of staying or coming back. And when he saved Olivia Beckett from her abusive boyfriend, Bash thought was just a temporary halt in the journey. He had no idea that he would end up falling in love with Olivia Beckett. And as a result of this unplanned incident, Bash lands behind prison bars. Olivia thinks Bash came for her help when she was in desperate need of it, and now she must find some way of returning the favor. Olivia decides to do the unthinkable for getting Bash McDaniels out of prison, and while doing so, she knows it very well that freeing Bash would result in losing him completely. Once freed, Bash is not going to commit the same mistake again of taking a halt and helping out a needy girl and then developing a feeling of love for her. But, something prevents him from taking the long journey away from the love of Olivia Beckett. Bash decides to remain with her forever and help her get out of her misery so that they can live the rest of their lives together happily.
