Christine DePetrillo is a teacher and bestselling author of romance fiction from Vermont in the United States. Since 1997, she has been working as an elementary school teacher having graduated with a masters degree in the same from Rhode Island College.

The author believes that she can only help her students by providing experiences that will be useful to them in the real world. For this teacher, the classroom is part of the society and a vital one that keeps it running for generations.

Christine has also authored many fiction works most of which have happily ever after endings. She has published works in the many different subgenres of romance including young adult romance, contemporary romance, historical romance, romantic suspense and paranormal romance in addition to gothic poetry.

DePetrillo was brought up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the United States. She was unfortunate enough to be born in a neighborhood full of boys, which made her a tomboy growing up.

She would dig in the dirt right alongside the boys and has never stopped as she came to love dirt; the texture, the smell of it and its magical ability to spawn stuff. Nonetheless she has lived in suburbia for most of her life even though she is usually at home in more natural settings.

She is a huge lover of wide open spaces, animal encounters and wandering in the woods. During Christine’s childhood, her family used to vacation up north in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont every summer. As such, she grew to believe that those were spaces people headed to to unwind.
Therefore it is not surprising that she drops most of her characters in such places and has made Vermont her home.

Just like many authors, Christine DePetrillo has always been huge on reading. In fact, her husband has always joked that every time he sees her she is always reading a new book. She even once said that she would rather cut things out of the grocery shopping list rather than cut on her books if they were ever short of money.

While he laughed at it, she was being very serious about it. Christine does a lot of Kindle shopping in recent times since it is easier to click to whenever the next fun read is. Nonetheless, she still goes to Smithfield’s Barnes & Noble every chance she gets. She usually just browses the shelves or finds a book recommended by a friend.

When she is not reading her novels, she can be found walking barefoot on sun kissed soil, talking to dragonflies and hugging trees. She finds happiness in breathing in the fragrances of new blooms, bathing in moonlight and listening to the wind.

Her love for nature often gets into every story she writes as does her obsession with lumberjacks that know how to love and cherish women.

Christine DePetrillo does much of her writing during the summer months since she spends much of her other seasons working with fifth graders. Even though she does sometimes write while school is in session, the summer is one of the only times she can truly live and work like a writer.
She usually likes to write in her comfortable shorts and tank tops out on her patio that she had made the official writing office. She currently lives with her husband and cat in Vermont.

“More Than Pancakes” by Christine DePetrillo is a brilliant novel that introduces Lily Hinsdale. She is living the dream life in California as the designer of Utopia Resorts charged with designing lavish hotels. Her nights are full of the glamour and glitz of upscale parties, until she inherits a property from her grandmother in Vermont.

She hates the woods of Vermont and when Utopia makes an offer to develop the land Lily has to head there for the critical talks.
In Vermont, she meets Rick Stannard, the builder of barns and maker of maple syrup. He had left New York following a near death incident and now is content with living with his book collection and Poe his coyote in Vermont. When Lily gets to the property and proposes to Rick that they should make it into a mega resort, he goes into a rage.

Lily is an expert at closing a deal but Rick will never turn his tranquility into a resort. Over time, they get to know each other and their little barbs start to have an underlying tension. Will their new found friendship turn into something else.

Christine DePetrillo’s novel “More Than Cookies” is the story of a grumpy woman named Sage Stannard. Her bad mood has to do with watching her just married cousin dreamily stare into the eyes of her husband.

All she has ever had is quick romps that always turned out to be huge mistakes. She now intends to move out of her parents house and try online dating, which she believes will add some spice to her boring life.

On the other hand is Orion Finley a chainsaw artist determined to get Myah his daughter back from his scheming ex wife. She is a well connected and crafty lawyer that even managed to get custody of Ranger his dog just to spite him.

His father had always said women and especially the prettier ones were snakes but he had never listened. When Orion and Sage meet, they stumble onto a path neither of them might have been ready to walk upon.

“More Than Rum” by Buy Christine DePetrillo is the story of Hope Stannard, a web designer who stood by as her sister and her cousin fell in love. She has been waiting for quite a while for her prince charming to come around, following a bad breakup with her boyfriend.

The new guy she had been interested in a few months later had also gone missing without offering any explanation. Perhaps she just needs to give up on this love thing and become an unmarried old maid, living with her mother and a Dalmatian puppy.

Meanwhile, Adam Rouse is a former marine who spends his time building furniture and lumberjacking. He spends his nights reliving the battles in Afghanistan and a particular one where he was the only survivor. He questions why fate had chosen him as the only survivor in his platoon.

He decides that his time is better spent as a bartender at the Black Wolf Tavern, where he can help others drown their troubles rather than battle insomnia in his bed. When a woman gets attacked outside his tavern, he cannot help but come to her aid.

She has always had some chemistry with Hope and tonight the tension between them is palpable.
