About Christopher Harlan

The American writer Christopher Harlan is well known for his steamy and intoxicating romance novels that really grab the reader from the very beginning. Writing with a very immediate and arresting style, he’s brought in fans from all around the world, all taking to his entertaining and in-depth fiction. He clearly has a passion for the form too, really understanding what works and what doesn’t when it comes to writing about relationships. Effectively balancing realism against entertainment, he always has something the say through his work as well.

This has proven to be enormously successful for Harlan over the years, having created numerous novels for a wide-reaching audience. Bringing in readers from all around the world, his stories resonate with readers regardless of their background, really coming to life off of the page. Early and Personal Life:

Born in New York, Christopher Harlan grew up a natural storyteller, trying to make sense of his life, before turning to writing full-time. Finding himself through his work and his novels, he’d develop a strong passion for it, as he became far more adept at his craft. Writing stories regularly, he’d often use experiences from his own life, constantly seeking inspiration from the world around him.

Inflecting his work with his own distinctive sense of sarcasm, he managed to establish a style that was very much his own. This would evolve in time, allowing him to essentially find his audience, as he would soon go on to become a bestselling author worldwide. Currently still writing to this very day, there’s plenty more planned upon the horizon, as his writing career goes from strength-to-strength.

Writing Career:

It was in 2016 that Christopher Harlan would release his first novel, which was titled ‘Impressions of You’, and this would also be the first in his ‘Impressions Duet’ series of novels. He’d follow that up next year in 2017 with ‘Impressions of Me’, and both of these would firmly establish him as a romance author. Other series would include ‘New York’s Finest’, which he started in 2017, ‘Wordsmith Chronicles’ in 2018, and ‘Savage Gentleman’ and ‘Lords of the Plains’ in 2019.

He’s also contributed to various other series as well, most notably ‘Hero Club’, with the novel ‘Secret Keeper’ in 2020. All of this has seen him go on to become a bestselling author both nationally and internationally, being a household name for many. With both critics and readers singing his many praises, he’s an author that will carry on writing for a long time to come.

Secret Keeper

Originally published in 2020 on the 17th of May, this would be another entry into the long-running ‘Cocky Hero Club’ collection. A series of different romance stories from various authors, this would be Harlan’s addition to the highly popular collection of novels. Working as entirely self-contained titles, it largely follows on from the others thematically, with most of the titles coming out in 2020.

Looking at the value of secrets and what they mean in a relationship, this takes that theme and really makes the most of it. The passion and chemistry exudes from each and every page, really sparkling for the reader, in what it is a fun and entertaining read. With strong characters and an engaging storyline, it definitely works on every level, making a great addition to the series overall.

Following Dylan Murphy, it sees him as a hard-working individual, as he works as personal assistant to the rich, powerful, and famous. Keeping secrets is his job and he’s good at it, as well as never becoming personally invested in the people that he’s working for. That is until he finally meets his match, with Penelope walking past one day and into his life, making it all the more difficult for him. Will he be able to put his personal feelings aside and remain professional? Can he keep his composure? What will become of the secret keeper?

A Savage Redemption

First brought out in August 2020, this would be a Kindle release, as well as being the third book in the ‘Savage Gentleman’ series of novels. Featuring stories of dangerous men, they’re ongoing novels, largely following on from each other narratively. There are characters that return, with them taking place in the same world as each other, so there will be some continuing arcs for long-term fans.

This really knows what it’s doing, with not only passion and romance, but also suspense and tension throughout. Keeping its excitement at an all time high, Harlan definitely makes the most of the premise, having fun with it in the process. There’s plenty of twists and turns here, constantly keeping the reader guessing with every page turn.

Fighting in the top rungs as a class fighter, Damien has the help of not only his friends Lucas and Matt, but Harper as well. With a chemistry growing between him and Harper, the two of them are inseparable, then one night in Vegas disaster strikes during a bout. Now he must fight his way back up to the top, regaining his former glory, in the hopes he can retain his relationship with Harper. Can he make it back to the top? Will the two of them remain an item? What will become of Damien as he finds a savage redemption?
