Christopher Hopper
Author Christopher Hopper was born in Ithaca, New York in 1979. He is an American novelist, and the co-author and creator of the best-selling mil-scifi series of novels the “Ruins of the Galaxy” with J. N. Chaney.

Christopher’s canoed with dolphins in Southern California, had breakfast with Winnie Mandella, kite-surfed in Hawaii, sailed a yacht in St. Martin, scuba-dived on nineteenth century shipwrecks in the 1000 Islands, and posed with white rhinos in the wilds in South Africa. He’s also performed a concert on a Dutch beach, spoken on national television in Mexico City, and climbed the Great Wall of China.

He enjoys performing music with his wife, flying RC planes and FPV race wings, and traveling out to distant lands, both fictional and physical. Christopher lives in the 1000 Islands of northern New York with his wife and four kids.

Christopher was born to write, but it took him a long time to realize it. His report card categorized him as a slow reader during elementary school. However he didn’t let the label keep him from creative writing. In fact, he excelled all the way through high school despite his frustrations with reading.

His desire to write continued growing until, while he was in mid-twenties, he made the decision to pen his first novel, despite his lack of a college education. It was his first effort to write high fantasy, one that took him down the long road of becoming a full time author.

Despite the books he had written as well as the combination of both self-publishing and traditional, writing was a side job, one that he was proud of even though he couldn’t support himself on it full time.

The fall of 2018, the winds of change stirred. Jenny, his wife, had encouraged him for a long time to pursue writing as a career. She saw what he couldn’t, and he’s forever grateful for her keen insight and her persistence in her urging him toward the desire of his heart. A midlife crisis, along with her strength, were the catalysts that would reshape his entire future.

In 2019, he made the decision to leap into the unknown and pursue the elusive dream of writing for a living. The drive to succeed pushed him to write three novels in six months, all as he worked a full-time job.

Christopher’s debut novel, called “Rise of the Dibor”, was released in the year 2006. His work is from the fantasy and science fiction genres.

“Rise of the Dibor” is the first novel in the “White Lion Chronicles” series and was released in the year 2006. What if Adam and Eve never sinned? Would Satan have returned?

A perfect world that’s untouched by evil and is ignorant of death gets secretly invaded by one ancient foe that threatens to destroy their entire way of life forever. Any signs of Morgui’s vile presence are just subtle at first, but slowly even Creation itself heralds this looming doom that lurks while the summers turn cold and certain inhabitants of Dionia vanish.

While an increasing amount of people are oddly taken, the Kings of Dionia choose to take precautionary measures. Luik, son of Lair, gets summoned to join this elite band of warriors called the Dibor, who was sworn to protect their Kingdom against all invading enemies. However when this sinister plot to dethrone the Kings and squash Adriel, the capital city, is revealed, the Dibor get summoned with the rest of the men in Dionia to defend her walls. Here Luik and his army confront Morgui’s Prince and the unending ranks of the demon war-host, Dairne-Reih.

What some think is going to destroy them all, others think is actually the birth of legend.

“Curse of the Spider King” is the first novel in the “Berinfell Prophecies” series and was released in the year 2009. The Seven succeeding Elven Lords of Allyra were dead, having been lost during the Siege of Berinfell while babies. At least that is what everybody believed until tremors from some distant world called Earth, revealed odd signs that Elven blood lived within its peoples.

With just a glimmer of hope deep in their hearts, sentinels are dispatched to see if these signs are true. However theirs isn’t a lone errand. The Spider King, the ruling warlord of Allyra, has sent scouts of his own to hunt down the Seven and finish the job they were unsuccessful at many moons prior.

Now these thirteen year old, right on the verge of the Age of Reckoning when their Elven gifts are going to be manifest, they find the unthinkable truth that their adoptive families aren’t their one and only kin. With mysterious Sentinels revealing some breathtaking secrets about the past and some dark strangers haunting every single move they make, are these young Elf Lords going to find their way back to their place of birth? Races and worlds collide while the forces of evil and good do battle. Is anybody going to escape the Spider King’s Curse?

“Ruins of the Earth” is the first novel in the “Ruins of the Earth” series and was released in the year 2020. A secret buried in the Antarctic, a puzzle that’s been unsolved for thousands of years now.

There’s also a Brooklyn-born Master Gunnery Sergeant that’s royally pissed off that he must babysit the researchers dispatched to figure everything. Patrick “Wic” Finnegan’s final op as a Marine Raider before he retires leads him to the frozen Ellsworth Subglacial Highlands. The one reason he is here? He owes an old friend a favor. That doesn’t mean he must like it, however.

When Wic starts to finally see what the team revealed, he’s unable to believe his own eyes. Nor is he ready for the violence that follows. Quickly, the portal opens up and unleashes a storm of fury on mankind. From the Antarctic tundra to Manhattan streets, Wic and his team are going to be pushed to their very limits while fighting to hold off Earth’s biggest threat. The odds are stacked up against them. Governments have begun toppling. The Earth’s falling into ruin.
