Cindy Dees began flying airplanes at a young age while sitting on her father’s lap. Dees managed to get a pilot’s license before she received a driver’s license. When she was fifteen years of age, Cindy Dees decided to drop out of high school and decided to leave the horse farm that she had been raised in, so that she could be admitted to the University of Michigan. After she was awarded a East European and Russian studies degree, Cindy Dees decided to join the United Airforce, which in turn made her the youngest female pilot to ever serve in the United States Airforce. While serving in the United States Airforce, Cindy Des flew supersonic jets as well as the C-5 Galaxy, which is the largest plane in the world. Cindy Des also from time to time was involved in intelligence gathering. While Cindy Des was serving in the military, she had the opportunity of traveling to more than forty countries, on five different continents.
At one point, Cindy Des was captured and detained by the KGB forces as well the East German secret police. Apart from flying an airplane during the gulf war, Cindy Des was also short at. Cindy Dees’s hobbies include Japanese gardening, Middle Eastern dancing as well as medivieal recreating. Cindy began working on her first piece when her mother had decided to place a one dollar bet. In the year 2001, Cindy Dees was more than happy to win that bet when her book was published.

Light This Candle
Harlequin publishers published Light This Candle in the year 2013. In Light this Candle, different women do extraordinary things to the lives of each other with the aim of enriching one another. The author Cindy Des introduces the readers to Mitch, a man who decides to visit the widows of the men, who died while in combat from the unit that he served. When Mitch finally locates Cassidy, a young woman with an extremely sick child, Mitch not only discovers that the woman is alone but also in deep financial difficulties. Eventually, a real character, Rose who challenges Mitch to assist the woman by doing her chores and even taking care of her sick child, calls out Mitch. Mitch decides to accept the challenge, and it does not take long before Mitch begins to fall in love with Cassidy and her son. Light this Candle deals with a rather difficult and dire circumstance, where Cassidy and Mitch meet, thus not making the best scenario for a romance to develop.
Despite the fact that the romance took a backseat for the drama, the narrative as not only unique but also very touching, with Mitch being a man, who is completely caught unawares, after he makes the discovery that he has been needing and wanting, what Cassidy and her young son Cody, gave him, a family. With that said, Light this Candle is a sweet and touching story.
Femme Fatale
Femme Fatale is the first installment in the Hard Bodies book series. In this book, author Cindy Des introduces the readers to Olivia Harper, a former Television child star, who is more than determined to establish herself in the film industry. She is also determined to dissolve her exceedingly clean image. According to Olivia Harper, she believes by playing roles that are sexy, physical and dangerous; she will be able to change the way in which the public perceives her. Olivia’s goal is to become Hollywood’s female fatale. When playing her roles, Olivia uses her life experiences to mold her characters and improve her on-screen performance. Sexually speaking, Olivia has continued to live a very sheltered life. Thus, her main worry is that her naivety will show through her performance. Olivia decides to use the assistance and guidance of one Major Blake Ramsey, the goo-looking film consultant.
At first, Blake is a little bit skeptical, but he eventually allows to assist Olivia to improve her seduction techniques. Due to some incidences that occurred in Russia, major Blake has been ordered to lay low for quite some time. The highly sensitive mission in Russia placed Major Blake’s life as well as that of other officers in danger. As expected, Blake and Olivia fall in love. The femme fatale sessions between these two characters are not only hot but also steamy as well. By making use of her newly found skills, Olivia can deliver breathtaking performances. By tracking Blake, the Russians are finally able to locate him. The great thing about the crew working with Blake is that they all have some military training. Thus they can ensure that Blake is safe at all times. With that said, the writing is not only solid, it is also well paced, while the storyline is quite believable. The love scenes between these two characters are extremely hot. If you are a fan of romance novels with farfetched plots, then Femme Fatale is a must read.
Medusa Project
Medusa Project is a military romance book series by renowned author, Cindy Dees. The books in Medusa Project book series, tell the project of an all-female team that is tasked with taking risky missions throughout the world. While serving in the army, Cindy Des had the chance and the opportunity of visiting several interesting places. She also had the chance of meeting several interesting individuals. The experience that Cindy Dees, picked up while serving in the army is evident throughout the Medusa project. The Medusa Project book series follows the exploits of various women, who go to war alongside their male companions, to ensure that the United States in a much safer place. As the series picks off, the Medusa Project is nothing more other than a one time project.
An Airforce Major, one Vanessa Blake has been selected lead the first ever special forces team that is comprised of women. The team, code named Medusas is expected to enable the army to establish whether women have a place in the army or not. Thus, Vanessa takes her role knowing that the future of women within the army rest on her shoulders. What Vanessa does not know is that her boss, Colonel Jake has been given orders to ensure that the entire project fails.
