This story follows two young women that are very independent. The two of them possess the power that it takes in order to save the world or send it spiraling into doom forever. What they will do in the end is up to them as well as fate. Centuries apart, these two women have power that others would kill for.

Meet the main character, a young woman named Rielle Dardenne. When a group of assassins attempt to ambush and kill the best friend that she has in the world, Rielle will do whatever it takes to help him. She is going to risk all that she has if it going to help save him. But in the process, she will expose herself to be one of two prophesied queens.

While they are both queens, one is of light and one is of blood. Rielle must prove that she is the one destined to be the Sun Queen. To do this, she must go through seven magic trials, all elemental. Failing will mean that she will be eventually executed unless all of the trials are too much for her and she gets killed by the toughness of the trials.

Just a thousand years later, this woman has passed from living person into a legend. To a young woman named Eliana Ferracora, the legend of this queen has always been a type of fairy tale. Eliana serves the Undying Empire as one of their bounty hunters. The position allows her to believe that no one can touch her, but she finds that her confidence may be misplaced when her mother disappears.

Eliana is determined to track her down and find her mother at any cost. Even if that means joining a captain known as a bit of a rebel to do it. On her quest, she will find the evil sitting at the heart of the empire is even worse than she could have ever thought.

Eliana and Rielle get involved in their own fights in part of an insane cosmic war. The war will span over the course of millennia. Over the course of that time, the way that their stories go will cause them to connect and even interact.

When the connections that they share turn out to be what will determine their world’s final fate as well as their own, it is more important than ever that they figure out what is going on and how to channel their powers for good. The first novel in this series will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens, so pick up a copy for yourself and read to the end and discover what happens with this queen and a woman that live years apart.

There is a Gate that was put up to keep the angels back, but now the thing that was keeping them at bay is not working anymore. Rielle has to repair it, but to do so, she must find the seven castings of the saints, hidden, and collect them.

Rielle must also help Audric, her love and prince, to protect Celdaria. To do so, she has to spy on an angel named Corien. But when he promises her power and freedom, will she be able to resist it?

Now Eliana is dealing with a new reality centuries later. She is the savior of humanity as Sun Queen, but fears corruption and becoming just as Rielle was. With her power remaining unpredictable and threatened by outside forces, it’s a race against time if she wants to save her friend.

Can Eliana save Navi from dying and embrace her power? Read this book to find out!
