This is the latest twist of events in his ongoing practical joke war with Rob Matheson, his best friend. Ethan plans to send his bride back home then get busy with his revenge plot. However, one look as Autumn changes his mind forever and perhaps he needs a bride after all.

Autumn Leeds needs a good story and pretty fast or she is going to lose her contract with CityPretty Magazine. So when she comes across a crazy video pledge for a modern mail-order bride for a ranch man, it sounds like the story of the century. She ends up making a video of her own and casts herself as the perfect mail- order bride for a rancher. However, upon reaching the Montana ranch, she is surprised to find out that Ethan is the perfect cowboy husband to be. Against her better judgment, Autumn ends up spending a night in the arms of Ethan.

Ethan, on the other hand, knows that he can no longer continue playing this game- and he has to come clean with his “bride” and reveal to her the truth about the practical joke and the stake of his ranch. He is about to lose it all because of the huge debts his mother accumulated before his parent’s death. Now, Claire, Ethan’s sister wants to sell out the entire ranch and collect the little money, and soon Ethan will be out of a home, job, and no shape to support the bride that he desperately wants to marry.

On Autumns side, she is in bigger trouble than she had before. Not only has she fallen in love with the subject of the story but she might also be carrying his child as well. If she does not write the article and secure her contract with CityPretty Magazine, she will lose everything, her apartment, her career and above all her family approval. The only possible way she has now is to stay and be married to Ethan but how will she end up trusting a man that she just met a while ago when she well knows that men will always pull you down?

The debut novel The Cowboy’s Email Order Bride is fun and quick read. It is among the stories that you know would never happen in real life but it is still entertaining, so you decide to roll with it. The two lead characters, Ethan, and Autumn are an interesting read, even though Ethan was an instant like. He is a sexy, yummy and a hardworking cowboy and on the other hand, autumn is an uptight, naïve and way worried about her mother thought. However, despite all her childhood insecurities, she still maintains her bright side. Even though all the characters in the debut novel all have their flaws, she still makes them very likable and thus making them more relatable.

Somehow the debut novel managed to be on the lighter side and still full of drama in it. The way how Ethan and Autumn lie to each other and end up falling in love is clearly depicted in the novel. Additionally, Lacey, Ethan Ex girlfriends adds drama while Autumn’s mother who’s man hating adds some mama drama to the book.

The Cowboy Wins A Bride

The Cowboy Wins A Bride is book two in The Cowboys of Chance Creek. In this novel, all Jamie wants is to get married to his good friend’s sister and live with her in Chance Creek for the rest of their lives. He has saved his earnings and hired the Cruz Guest Ranch and has already paid for the wedding but Claire Cruz whereabouts is unknown.

Claire is too busy and got plans of her own- a trip around the globe. She will soon go as soon as her tickets are ready and don’t care if she comes back to Chance Creek again.

Jamie proposes a bet to Claire; to give him only six weeks to convince her to marry him and if he cannot he will have to pay for her tickets on the journey around the world.

Claire can wait for only six weeks if it means that she will get free tickets and a chance to get revenge on a man who once broke her heart terribly. She has only one condition that Jamie cannot touch or flirt with any other woman while the bet is still on.

Now Jamie is on the run from a group of cowboys, ranch guest and soon Claire finds herself caring more about the ranch and Jamie more than she ever dreamed possible.

The second novel is fully packed with drama as well as exciting scenes. The main character Claire is somehow a complicated character. Situations of her past make her uptight women who cannot trust anyone even Jamie whom she knew since her childhood. On the other hand, Jamie is an upright man and is willing to wait for only six months to win his bride.

In general, you will the characters find all the characters enjoyable and probably become entirely invested in each one of them. The entire story revolves on the greater extent on Claire and Jamie relationship/ non-relationship. What you will find amazing in this novel is the character interactions, plot development and the vivid descriptions that Cora Seton makes.
