Illustrated by Derek Anderson, it’s a stand-alone title with an engaging story aimed at young children learning to read for the first time.

Heading off to the Water Kingdom water park, Hamster and his new friend Holly go ahead and challenge two dogs to a race. Using the water park with his friends, Hamster hopes to win the water slide race, all whilst making the most of water park. With the sun out and everyone looking to have fun, the friends will all enjoy their time together on the rapid water slides. Taking care of them until they’re adopted, Suzannah looks after a dog named Paloma, and soon she finds herself really caring for the small dog. Soon though, the dogs are to be adopted, which upsets Suzannah as she really doesn’t want to say goodbye to Paloma. Is there a way they can make everyone happy, will she be able to say goodbye, and what will become of Paloma?
