Daisy Luther is a cookbook and nonfiction author who makes her home in a small Northwestern Pacific area in the United States.

She has made her name as the author of various books on self-reliance and emergency preparedness.

Daisy runs “The Organic Prepper,” a website where she makes use of her experience as a journalist to offer unique perspectives on preparedness and health.
She offers a path of rational anarchy against a system that will leave us enslaved, unhealthy, and broke if we adhere to its rules.

Daisy also runs several websites where she offers tips and information on how to live through man-made or natural disasters.

Before Daisy Luther became a bestselling author she worked in the corporate world and hated the grind as it took her away from her passions.

Like most people, she had many unfulfilled dreams as she wanted to do self-reliance projects, spend time with her children, and write books. Instead, she found herself grinding her teeth and being an obedient cog in the machine.
It took the death of her father to change everything and inspire her to go for her dreams, as she had promised him she would chase her dream of becoming an author.

Upon her return to work following his death, her deep feelings of loathing for her job began to rise. Things got even worse when her financial situation began to unravel following a downturn in the industry in which she worked.
Daisy then lost her house, her car, and the father of her children, leaving her with a lot of responsibility in uncertain times.

Reeling at the death of her husband, she knew she had to do something radically different if she and her children were to survive.

Ultimately, Daisy Luther took a leap of faith to become a writer as she left her full-time job and everything behind. After accepting a severance package and cashing in her retirement, she set about to become a writer and prepper.
Her life of frugality had prepared her for many challenges and she set out to become an expert, as she set out to learn even more.

What she wanted was to raise her own food, live off the grid, and learn the many prepping skills she read about.

She also wanted to put her twist on the entire preparedness niche as she hated how there were far too many people leaving unfit and unhealthy leaves, using toxic products, and eating chemical-laden, processed foods.
With enough money to survive for a year living frugally, she moved to central Ontario where she lived in a cabin with her youngest while she sent the oldest to college.
To finance her writing projects, she worked for an alternative media company from home for three years.

Once Daisy Luther began seeing a measure of success, she quit freelance work as she prefers to churn out several books every year and write for her blog.

When she is not reading, learning about prepping, or writing, she can be found traveling to foreign countries, cooking, shooting guns, canning, and hiking.

She particularly loves traveling, as this sometimes helps her in aspects of survival and preparedness training.

Some of the things she loves about it include trying new things, blending in, soaking up the knowledge of other cultures, learning traditional cooking techniques, and making new connections.

Daisy Luther’s “The Prepper’s Water Survival Guide” is an all-encompassing guide on how to get good safe water following a disaster.

Water is one of the most critical resources needed after a catastrophe as humans can only live for three days absent water.

Even though it is possible to store a substantial amount of water, its weight and size mean that it is impractical to store it for long-term survival.
As such it is very important to learn how to not only purify but how to acquire water supplies over time.

This work looks into all these factors with simple instructions that just about anyone whether expert or novice preppers can understand and follow.
It is a novel laser-focused on water which means it provides a lot of detail that you will usually not find in any other guide.

Luther begins with storage as she covers what types of containers to get, how to store them, and how to avoid contamination.

She also gives real-world applications that will help in collecting water from sources including rain, wells, river, and lake water.

Whether you are looking for supplies for a year, a month, a week, or longer, there is a solution for just about everything.

“Prepper’s Pantry” by Daisy Luther is an excellent addition to any survivalist’s or prepper’s bookshelf.

With this, work you learn how to provide for yourself and your family with a one-year food supply as a buffer against small disasters, personal financial emergencies, or the whims of the economy.
In this edition, Dsisy offers a detailed guide on everything you will ever need to learn about food storage.

It also teaches how to plan and prepare for those with restrictions on what they can and cannot eat, thrifty new ways of shopping, and how to store purchased food so that it lasts as long as possible.
