Early and Personal Life
Born in America in the United States, Dani Ames grew up with a keen passion for both reading and writing, with an special interest in high-octane action. Over the years she would take this particular interest and hone and refine it, all throughout her education and on into her adult life, building a name for herself constantly. This would continue as an adult, as she would constantly be on the lookout for new and exciting ideas, something which continues to this very day as she carries on writing at a regular and ever consistent pace.
Writing Career
Bringing out her first book ‘Death by Sarcasm’ in 2011, the author Dani Ames made her debut onto the literary scene with the first in the series of soon to be much loved ‘Mary Cooper Mystery’ novels. It was series such as this, among others like ‘Burr Ashland’ and ‘Circuit Rider’ novels, that would help make her name as a novelist of mystery crime fiction. Largely using social-media to market a lot of her work, she would come to create a name for herself as an author, something which she continues to enjoy to this very day still writing from her home in Los Angeles.
The Killing League
Initially brought out in 2012 on the 5th of December, this was to originally be brought out through the Kindle, as it it would help lead the way to Ames becoming a bestselling author. Working as action filled thriller with a mystery underpinning it all, it bases itself on a somewhat exploitation set concept that is both fun and enticing for readers looking to be entertained. With her characteristic sense of suspense and action, this keeps the reader completely hooked throughout the entire story, constantly looking to find out what happens next.

Gross Sarcastic Homicide
Published through the ‘Slogan Books’ publishing label, this this was also released through the Kindle, along with providing the third title in the ongoing ‘Mary Cooper Mystery’ series of books. Continuing from where the last left, it manages to follow on in much the same vein as the previous title, whilst also providing some twists and turns along the way. Developing the characters and the world as a whole, it manages to build upon what came before, whilst also adding further embellishments, creating a far richer world.
On the hunt for a killer, Mary Cooper is back, as she goes searching for a killer who delights in not only murdering their victims, but mentally torturing them too. Beginning with a corporate executive being brutally murdered, Mary aims to find out who the killer is and why this happened, as she goes looking for clues. This then sees her immersing herself deep within the world of psychologists and therapists that populate Los Angeles, making it famous for its therapy culture. Will she find the killer and bring them to justice? Can she stop them from striking again? Who is guilty of gross sarcastic homicide?
