Daniel Banner is a bestselling author of romance fiction who is a noted collaborator on the “Navy SEAL” and “Firefighter” series of novels.

He has become known for penning clean romance fiction with a good dose of action and suspense. He also works as an editor and has worked with many bestselling novelists over the years.

Outside of his writing, Banner has been working as a paramedic and fireman for at least eighteen years. He has often said that he makes use of the experiences he has during his day as a firefighter to come up with stories during the night.
For Daniel who works a very stressful job, writing during the nights is a form of therapy and escape and sometimes, a celebration of the triumphs he has at work.

While Daniel Banner has achieved a lot of success as an author, he never knew he could be an author until he turned 30.

It was in 2007 that he got started writing after engaging in all manner of side jobs including owning a mortgage company, teaching CPR classes, and working construction and as a paramedic and firefighter.

At some point, he realized that he could become a professional author and was hooked. The way that came about was that he had a friend who submitted a manuscript to a short story contest and he thought “If he could so could he.”
Daniel Banner spent about two years collecting ideas, listening to podcasts, writing, and studying, but it was not until he attended a writing convention that he overcame his fear.

Upon returning home that night, he sat in front of his laptop and began writing.

He started out writing fantasy since it was what he loved reading while he was growing up. It was after he had been writing for several years that he got involved in the editing of the works of several romance fiction authors.
It was at that time that he got the invitation to write a firefighter series with them. This would become the “Park City Firefighter Romance” series of novels.

Unlike many male novelists who write romance under female pseudonyms, Daniel Banner decided to write his novels under his name.

He decided to use a male name so that he could show his different perspective on the genre, which he believes his readers wil realize and appreciate.
Since he has been a firefighter for nearly two decades, his perspective and experience usually shine through the Firefighter series.

While he does believe he could have achieved more success with a female name, he has never regretted using a male name. Daniel Banner has over the years built up a huge following with many people having a preference for romance novels written by a man.
Nonetheless, he makes use of female editors to get the right female perspectives. He also gets a lot from the more than 50 romance fiction works he edits every year that are mostly written by women.

Daniel Banner’s novel “Two Hearts Rescue” is an interesting work of fiction that introduces the lead as Poppy Mercer.

Her mother has forever been belittling her but she is determined to win even if her mother believes she could never be good enough or do anything right.

Back home she trying to establish her business but it is proving very difficult. One thing she needs to take care of is her weight and she goes to the gym to exercise on the treadmill only to find herself falling on the treads.
What made her ordeal even more embarrassing was that she had just been looking into the eyes of a gorgeous firefighter.

The firefighter Slade Powers is about to finish his probationary period but given the fact of seniority, he still gets all the dirty jobs.

Much of the time, he used to stay by himself particularly when his girlfriend dumped him while he was in the Army’s Officer Training School. He had another heartbreak and this time he was convinced that he would never love again.
He believed his destiny was to be alone since he was afraid of getting attached to someone and having them leave. Nonetheless, he felt attracted to the girl who had one of the warmest smiles he ever saw.

“A Perfect Rescue” by Daniel Banner is a fascinating romance fiction work that tells the story of Emily Smith and Dominic.

She had always been quite the catch but her relationships never last. She always seems to attract the pretty boys who never make her feel feminine.

Emily is indeed a better mechanic and exceptional firefighter as compared to most of her colleagues and friends but she still wants to feel like a lady. When new airline captain Dominic shows up she thinks she might just have met her man.
As the youngest of eight kids in his family, he feels on top of the world as he can now take charge after being bossed around for much of his life. Still, he feels like the new woman in his life is always half a step ahead of him.
Facing tough days at work, Emily needs to refresh herself in her peculiar ways. But can Dominic figure out how to give her the space she needs but still be there for her?

It is an intriguing story of two different people working very stressful jobs who need to come to terms with each other’s unique needs in love.

Daniel Banner’s novel “Sparks Will Fly” is an interesting addition to the “Park City Firefighter Romance Station” series of novels.

Blue Reed is the captain of Park City Fire Department’s “Engine 2” where he is the leader of the “Blue’s Bachelors” crew.

But then a brunette crosses his path while he is taking part in an adventure race and he wonders if his days as a bachelor are about to come to an end.

The black-haired beauty is Lucy Avila, a former university mascot and recent college graduate who had traveled to Utah to take part in the Questival alongside her friends.

All she wants is the prize of a ticket to Cusco, Peru since she will get to meet her very old grandma she calls Abuelita. However, standing between her and the biggest prize is the leader of a menacing team of firemen who looks like a Spartan.
No sooner do they hit it off than they realize that he had been a star player for the biggest rival of her university? To make things worse, their families have prominent positions and long histories with their respective colleges.
From the Skybox of a football stadium to the side of a Peruvian mountain, they put rivalries aside as love blossoms. But one mistake by Lucy may just change everything.
