Deb Pines is an American author. She is known for her mystery fiction works.

Deb was born in Brooklyn New York. She moved to Miami Beach in Florida and grew up there. Today, she is writing headlines for the tabloids of the New York Post as her day job and writing her mystery books in the meantime.

She attended Brown University for higher education and graduated, going on to be a reporter at a variety of publications. That was all before she got interesting in writing fiction, and the rest was history after that.

Deb Pines is the creator of the Mimi Goldman series of novels. They feature the main character of the same name. The first book came out in 2013. They are set in western New York state in a small town.

The premiere book was praised by readers and critics alike for its quick wit and memorable protagonist and characters.
