This is a chemistry fueled debut novel with a bit of ghost story that is great for readers of gothic romance. Biller mirrors Wharton’s own genius for revealing the emotional gold that lies beneath the Gilded Age, which motivates this novel’s massive romantic turmoil. This novel is close to perfection and any lover of historical romance novels is sure to adore this debut novel.

This book is filled with banter-filled shenanigans, must have you kisses, and romance that’s certain to light a fire in the hearts of readers everywhere. Diana delivers an emotionally complex and beautifully researched experience, and is an opulent slice of Viennese tradition that is just as rich as a torte and as layered as a complicated line of Strauss. With danger and intrigue which nips on the heels of its luscious waltz, Diana’s atmospheric and lush escape is dolloped with romance and the complex, deep, and sigh-worthy characters.
