The author Diana Orgain is an American citizen born and raised in San Francisco. Growing up, she could not just have enough of mystery books like Nancy Drew. Others which she liked were the Hardy Boys series. While reading them, she had aspirations of becoming a writer at some point in the future, a dream that really did come to pass. She graduated from San Francisco university, where she studied Creative writing, with a B.A as well as a M.F.A. Some of her books have become USA Today’s bestsellers. Diana has had opportunities to act professional roles both in theater and do television commercials. Some of the plays she wrote have been produced in her Former university.

The Book ‘A First Date with Death’ (A Love or money mystery no.1)

Georgia Thornton is the main character in this book. We are introduced to Georgia when the story of her woes is told. Losing her job and being left high and dry at the altar by her fiance do little to boost her confidence. The heartache of it all seems unbearable. Her friend persuades her to participate on a reality TV show. As heartbroken as Georgia was, the only reason that took her to the show was to look for love possibly from a suitable and qualified male, get some money and possibly reclaim her life.

While on the show, she is made aware of a list of ten men to choose from but the question that must be asked here is: Is it possible that she will find love on television? Her friend as well as the show producer think it is possible. The task ahead of her is to go out on dates with each of the men in order to know them better.The men are on the show either for money or for love. Woe unto her if her choice of one of the bachelors lands matches her with one who is only there for money because he will leave with the money and not with her. However, if she picked on one that is on the show for to love,then the two are likely to share the money.

However, Things get quickly complicated and mysteriously frightening when a series of misfortunes strike. Her first date dies in a mysterious accident off a bridge. Paul Sander’s, Georgia’s former fiance replaces another missing date but top on his agenda is not the show. Being a cop, his red flags about the first date’s death are up and on suspicions of foul play, he commences investigation into the matter. He decides to investigate the incident secretly.

The reality slowly but horrifying sinks in when another bachelor dies. It is now quite apparent that there is a killer on a mission on the show, with a real mission to kill and Georgia herself could be the target.With all these fears lurking at the back of her mind, Georgia suddenly wakes up to the reality that she has no other choice other than to trust the only person on this show whom she knows is totally unreliable.

This book gives promises of a cocktail of events right from love, money all the way to murder. The reader gets glued to the seat as they turn page after page of literature wondering how this intriguing tale of romance and mystery will end.

The book, ‘ Nursing a Grudge’
This book is a thriller. Kate Connelly, the book’s main character has one burning desire: to spend quality time with her new bundle of joy- her baby Laurie and to learn what motherhood entails. What is totally far from her mind is solving a mystery case has all indications of being closer to her heart than she cares to imagine. The case involves unraveling a mystery about the death that involves the boyfriend of her friend. Her friend, a critic, scathingly reviews a restaurant by the name ‘Philosophie’ and it seems that the owners of the restaurant are not too happy about it. Kate’s instincts swing into action when she notices something amiss.

When her friend’s boyfriend, Perry, mysteriously dies from a fall off a cliff, Kate cannot but help feeling that her friend was the next target. With so much going on, taking care of her baby, changing diapers and having sleepless nights, Kate fumbles through the investigation thrown her way by fate in the best way she knows how. She has to balance between so many things including ordering a dust kit, buying a present for Paula’s new baby, putting things in order and carrying out the investigation all at the same time. That she has a husband and mother she can count on go a long way in easing her pressures so that she can attend to other important matters. The story quickly moves on to more interesting happenings even as the murder suspect gets to be unraveled.

This book is a fun and easy read which gives an interesting point of view from a mom who has to juggle between various things but still have everything under control and while at it get to solve a murder mystery. Orgain did a wonderful job with this book and got the story line moving quickly so that the plot was easy to follow. The book comes highly recommended for fun reading. It has an easy plot that is not too complicated yet it is not boring at all. The interesting point is when one finally gets to know who actually committed the murder. It is worth your while waiting to find out.

Conclusion
The author,Diana Orgain intrigued her readers with these fun packed, interesting books. Adding a touch of suspense and enjoyable light mystery made her books an interesting read. For those who love uncomplicated murder mysteries, you can snuggle away with any of these titles and read away the afternoon. They are not long books so the story development caught on quickly and before you know it, you have read through the books.

The book, ‘A first date with death’ keeps readers going as the suspense builds up until the every end when each and every information gap is filled and the suspects unveiled. Overall, it can only be concluded that this writer draws on her ingenious creative ability to bring stories to life. The same stories communicate to people in such a manner that just about anyone can relate to the story’s plot while at the same time enjoying to read the books.

   I have a unique problem. I’m reading the Maternal Instincts Mysteries. I was expected to start reading Deathly Rattle. However, the cover is Deathly Rattle, but the inside is A first date with death. How, do I get the corrected book? Sincerely Genie Crownover PS I order my books from Amazon.

   I have listened to everything that they have on Audible. When will new books come out on there.
   Maternal Instincts, A love or money, roundup Crew, and Iwitch mystery I am on now. I am not sure about this one yet but really love the others.

     I agree! It seems that Diana Orgain has too many series going at once. It is hard to start a series and then wait forever for the new book. I love the Iwitch series Third times a crime series and am waiting for the new book sequels to come out. She is a really good writer and it is a shame and disappointing not to get the sequels to a lot of these series out in a timely manner if at all.
