My Everything: The Parent I Want to Be, The Children I Hope to Raise is a book on parenting written by Einat Nathan. If you are a parent or are planning to become one, this is a great book to pick up that will offer insights of the author on parenting that you find interesting. As CEO of Kinneret Zmora Dvir Publishing House Eran Zmora says, everyone that they know that has purchased the ‘fantastic’ book has nothing but praise for it.

Chris Schluep through Amazon’s Editor Review chose the book as an editor’s pick, citing that the book “urges parents” to bring up kids that are independent and strong by working to see things the way that their children do. Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot praised the book, noting the ’empathetic’ book was filled with “wisdom and heart”. She also cited her personal belief that the world will improve through practicing positive parenting.

Focused on compassion and parents raising children to be their own capable people, this is a book that features some of the most important things we can do when it comes to the most important people in our world. Children have their own way of experiencing the world, and those that are willing to see and feel the world that their children do are able to experience a special connection and even deeper understanding of what their children’s lives are like.

Einat Nathan also has her own unique experience working as an expert on parenting, running her clinic as a counselor, and also as being the mother to her five children and parenting them along with her partner. Haimsheli was first released in 2018 and was quickly bought for re-release abroad in countries like the U.S. so that other readers could pick up and appreciate this best seller!

The book did so well in Israel that it skyrocketed Nathan to popularity and made her a household name as well as a celebrity in her home country. Perhaps one of the reasons that the book ended up doing so well is that people were able to relate to it and learn from the topics. Mothers that picked it up had a special resonating feeling with the topic and even emotional reactions. Through the text, they found their own unique ways of seeing their children as not just an extension of themselves or as something representative but their own independent people.

The book is now in English for other readers to enjoy and moms and other parents to discover their own sense of how they want to parent. Nathan encourages gentle or positive parenting, patience with kids, staying calm when everything seems to be promoting stress or fear, and to see their child as an individual and accept them for that, appreciating all of their uniqueness along the way.

Every child has their own personality, their own preferences, their own gifts, skills, flaws, and quirks. Each child is their own person, and the author acknowledges that sometimes being a parent is like taking a scary bungee jump leap, where you can sometimes experience jubilation in addition to disappointment.

The book is a compassionate look at the emotional experience of being a parent, the complexity of the role, and reminding us that parenting often takes not just our energy but courage as well. While not everyone’s perfect, this book is about strengthening a parent’s understanding of what their child wants and needs from them and the benefits of forming that positive connection with their kids.

Rooted in love but also a determination to help children be independent and self-sufficient without relying on their parents, Nathan has written a best seller that has become an instant classic. Countless parents have found value in this book, and if you are looking for a new read in the parenting arena, this insightful book is a great selection.

If you are a parent that wants to strengthen the relationship that you have with their child and help them be independent, Nathan’s book ‘My Everything’ is a must-read. Check it out today and see what Einat Nathan has to say!
