Eliah Greenwood is a proud Wattpad Star, Canadian author winner of the 2018 Fiction Awards, cliche with a twist lover and coffee addict.
She was only fifteen when she embarked on her writing journey on the Wattpad website. Much of the manuscript from her debut fiction work Unwritten Rules was penned while she was on the bus heading home from school.
She was pleasantly surprised when the novel got more than thirty-one million reads on Wattpad and decided to self-publish her work.
By 2020, the “Rules” series of novels had four titles published while Eliah had gone on to pen at least half a dozen novels.
She is now known as an Amazon bestselling author with a penchant for writing novels where the main guy gets kicked in the nuts and where opposites attract.
Greenwood has built quite a following as she has more than a hundred thousand followers across social media platforms.
She currently makes her home in Canada, where she lives with Alvin her cat, and her lifelong partner.
When she is not busy screaming at her computer screen and writing her novels, she can usually be found curled up in a warm blanket or binge-watching her favorite TV shows on repeat.
In the evenings, she loves interacting with her fans and readers on social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and in the newsletter on her website.
Eliah Greenwood’s novel “Dear Love, I Hate You” is an enthralling romance story of Xavier and Vee.
They had grown up together as children since their mothers were friends and Xavier never got tired of bullying Vee whenever he had the chance. But when they were eight years old, he changed schools and they stopped talking.
The last time they interacted, he was an eight-year-old who had pushed her around on the playground. Vee has come a long way since then as she has lost her virginity to Logan her sister’s ex-boyfriend and now believes that no one is worse than she is.
Ashley her sister is a prodigy which means Vee has been living in her shadow for years. She recently discovered that Ashley her sister was back with Logan and she is desperate to ensure her secret does not come out.
At some point, Vee finds a book of poetry with a secret letter and note on the back. She opens the letter to find that it is addressed to her and then begins conversing with an unknown person.
But then she discovers that she is communicating with the king of her basketball-obsessed town Xavier Emery.
“Dear Heart, I Hate You” by Eliah Greenwood is the story of Finn Richard and Dia Mitchell. The latter was only interested in saving enough money to get a car.
It should have been easy once she got a house-sitting job over the summer to take care of a very cute border collie. But she never factored in the factor that the son of her boss would be determined to ensure she quit the job.
The drop-dead gorgeous Finn Richards is a broken, reckless, and coldhearted man but there is more to him than that which makes Dia curious.
They have an incredible magnetism but soon it comes out that Finn is suffering from abandonment and survivor’s guilt given that he had lost his mother in a tragic accident.
The only way he knows how to cope is to not care about anyone or anything except his dog. But then Dia Mitchell comes into his life with her beauty, sweet kindness, understanding, and patience, and will not put up with his nonsense.
At first, he rejects everything about her but over time, she starts to help him battle his demons as she cares for him.
He struggles with being attracted to her as he does not feel worthy of her but once they give in to the attraction, things will never be the same again.
Eliah Greenwood’s “Dear Heart, I Miss You” picks up from where the second novel of the “Easton High” series left off.
Dia Mitchell was left in a lot of pain as she believed Finn had cheated on her. But as the truth comes out, Finn is determined to prove to Dia that he did not cheat.
Slowly over time, they begin to get back on track, even though it is clear Finn is struggling with commitment, and Dia questions if they were truly meant to be.
With graduation and school around the corner, there is college talk just about everywhere. Dia begins thinking that perhaps they were never meant to have an epic romance but just a normal high school romance.
But then there is a tragic incident that puts them on divergent life paths and they will both need time to grow apart from each other.
Dia ultimately ends up at Duke, where she is having an okay life with a new boyfriend until Finn shows up determined to win her back.
