Elisa S. Amore is a reputed Italian novelist of young adult, romance, fantasy, adult fiction, and paranormal stories. She is particularly popular for writing the supernatural romance series called Touched Saga. This internationally successful series revolves around Heave and Hell. The series was originally released in the Italian language by a major publishing company based in Italy called Editrice Nord. Author Amore was born as Elisa Strazzanti on April 13, 1984, in Italy. She currently resides in Switzerland. Amore wrote her first young adult fantasy book while she was working at the diner of her parents. She claims that she used to dream up the story in between the orders from customers. She wrote and released her books initially in Italian. In 2016, Amore began to get her novels translated into English and published them again.

The Touched Saga is considered her primary creation and it has sold more than 200,000 printed copies throughout the world. In the first volume of the saga, Amore has described the story of a Death Angel. This story has been praised by critics as the young adult/fantasy version of the novel Meet Joe Black & City of Angels. In 2017, author Amore visited Los Angeles for working on the Touched’s audio version. She collaborated with Hollywood actor and model named Matt Lanter in this regard. Amore was the guest of honor at the Lucca Comics and Games in 2013. She has also featured in Glamour, Wired, Vanity Fair, and MarieClaire Italy. The Fantasy Magazine has labeled Amore as romantic fantasy’s undisputed queen. In addition to her fantasy novels, Amore has penned a few short novels and a single novel called Dark Tournament. Amore intends to develop this 2018 novel into a spin-off trilogy series that is based in the same world as her Touched Saga novels.

Author Amore is happily married and is blessed with a son. She lives with her family and divides her time between Switzerland and Italy. Amore is fond of pet animals and has a pug that roams freely in her house and sleeps most of the time. Also, she has a wild craving for pizza and adventure travels. Her traveling is considered her constant source of inspiration. Author Amore says that she imagined some of the love scenes in her novels while roaming around along Venice’s canals and visiting the house of Romeo’s Juliet in Verona. The all-time favorite author of Amore is William Shakespeare. She also loves the work of Nicholas Sparks. Amore prefers to work on her novels at night because she finds a soothing pleasure and peace in the calm atmosphere of the night. Also, she likes to have the company of the shining stars in the sky. Now, Amore writes young adult fiction and romance on a full-time basis.

In her spare times, she likes to indulge in healthy activities like swimming, walking, and jogging. Amore also likes to daydream and read. A favorite hobby of Amore is collecting animated movies and books and keeping them well protected under lock & key. Amore’s family calls her a bookworm. Her first novel quickly climbed up the charts after its release and won the love of over hundreds and thousands of readers all across the globe. The trailer of the novel was shown in movie theaters in Italy at the time of the premiere of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2.

The Touched Saga series written by author Elisa S. Amore is comprised of a total of 4 novels and 2 novellas released between 2012 and 2017. Some of the essential characters depicted in the books of this series include Peter, Gemma, Evan James, Lady Venetia, and several others. The debut book of the series is entitled ‘Touched: Caress of Fate’. It was published as an ebook edition in 2016, after its original release in 2012. Author Amore has set the book’s story in Lake Placid, New York. The plot revolves around the sacrifice a person is willing to make when the one who wants to kill them is the same person who can save them. Initially, it is mentioned that after dealing with vampires, werewolves, fallen angels, and wizards, a new entity has emerged in the form of Death Angels to usher mankind into the dark world. This entity belongs to an old, inescapable, and deadly race. People are not able to see the Death Angels. They are destiny’s shadows, death knights, and the Subterraneans who want to take away the lives of humans.

The Death Angels are commanded by a strange and mysterious congregation known as Masala and are tasked to make sure that every man follows the path of their destiny on Earth. Things take a different course when love interferes with the task of the Death Angels. One of the Angels is forced to challenge destiny and deny his nature. As a result, fate rebels against love. When Gemma came face to face with Evan James for the first time, she felt that his dark and piercing gaze caused an ominous shadow to enter into her life. After that, she was ultimately led to her destiny’s course. Gemma doesn’t realize soon that Evan is a Death soldier and has been sent to take her life. However, instead of killing her, Evan ends up saving Gemma. He seems mesmerized by her beauty and surprised by the fact that she is the only one who could see him. This novel combines unconfessable secrets and devastating passions, deep emotions and heartrending decisions, and gives life to a wonderful love story between an Angel and a human.

The second volume of the series is called ‘Unfaithful’. It was first published in 2013 and its English translation was released in 2016. This book opens by depicting that a period of 5 months is gone since Gemma had a near-death experience. Now, she is cherishing the most intense form of happiness by having Evan James by her side. But, her instincts tell her that the danger to her life has not completely gone. Meanwhile, Evan reveals an unmentionable secret to Gemma in his overconfidence. This error cannot be paid in any form except in blood. The Masala send other faithful servants to claim the life of Gemma and Evan again shows the desperation to save the love of his life. In this novel, the protagonists are pitted against one another because of the challenge between death and passion. Both Gemma and Evan realize that it is not going to be easy to overcome their fate by being in the face of betrayal, emotional devastation, and jealousy.
