When a Marquis Chooses a Bride is the second book in the Worthington series which takes us on a journey of finding true love for two characters that need it yet keep fighting back. It is a scandals affair that will greatly shake the Worthington more than any other thing has done in the past.

Dom’s father passed on while he was still young and this drove his mother into a problematic situation which forced her to give him up to his uncle. The uncle had ways that were unpleasing and which he tried forcing on Dominic. The issue of marriage is one of those things that he went off the mark since the advice that he gave was utterly unreasonable. Moreover, his political views were very negative, and this also hurt Dom. These situations keep Dom away from normal life and interactions with others in society.

The time comes for Dom to marry but due to the standards that he has set, this becomes almost impossible. At the same time, the mother is prepared to come in and ensure that he chooses a wife she thinks is worth since Dom also requests her help on the matter. Dotty, is a kind-hearted girl always sticking her head out to save the less fortunate in the society. Upon the two meets, love is undeniable, but Dotty’s friends discourage her citing the high standards that Dom has making her a no choice for love and marriage.

Love has the power to change things and circumstances, and it does change how Dom sees the issue of love by a considerable extent. As the story ages, the two slowly fall into each other’s heart, and the barriers that have been created into Dominic’s life are gradually eliminated.

The author changes a lot through a slow but romantic and emotional pace. The story is romantic, funny and with a lot to learn about the power of love and power.

Their first encounter sparkles something in the two hearts that makes them recognize the perfect match they are for each other. Louisa feels that she has found the right suitor as he fits her specifications. Gideon is torn between letting go of his pride and chase for wealth and letting emotions, love, take effect between him and this gorgeous lady. All facts and circumstances point to the impossibility of this relationship, but Louisa wants no one else except Gideon. Love develops between the two from whom it looked utterly impossible. Gideon grows from a man that had no interest to a person willing to give anything to save the relationship.
